great filter

Bought this filter for my 15' round solid wall pool. The cartridge filter I used the last 2 seasons was not keeping the water as clear as I thought it should be. Assembled this filter in about 15 minutes. Hooked it up and ran it for 8 hours and the pool water us immaculate and crystal clear. Priced this unit at local pool supply store and it was $399.00 so the price is right..... Word if advice.... Assemble it at the location where it will be used as it is heavy and could be damaged if moving it fully assembled....works awesome!!!

The picture for this unit does not do it justice. I am really happy with this pool filter and it seems to be well designed and engineered. It sure put my old filter to shame. I now have a CLEAN swimming pool and am really enjoying it with a lot less maintenance than before.

Purchased the Hayward filter and pump for my spa which is next to our pool. Like all the Hayward pool products, I was very impressed with the ease of installation and operation of the filter and pump. Great pump output, at approx. 75 feet. Make sure that the screws on the assembly on to the filter are always tight.. they will loosen over time.
