Stylish bag works well

I've had this toy for about 6 months and it has proved to be durable. The styling is cute, it is not too heavy for my young daughter and the sound is pretty good - very good considering the price. There is an unit inside the bag to plug in the microphone (good quality also) or a mp3 player. The only drawback I have found - which could be a dealbreaker for some - is that there is only one input so you can plug in the microphone OR a mp3 but not both, nixing a microphone sing-a-long.

Great! Daughter and her Friends Love This!

High School Musical is so popular with the kids and this tote bag is great! The front circle zip compartment holds your mp3 player and the cord to plug into the player is already wired into the space for convenience. Inside the main compartment, there is a battery compartment that is plastic. All the cords are wired to it and has the volume control dial with on/off switch. Simply plug in the microphone and all is good to go. The mic works nice and my daughter sings along to her songs from mp3 at same time. Plus, the mic really works nicely on this toy and loud (compared to some of her other kid toy mics that are too soft in volume). And, enough room inside the main compartment for her to carry headphones and other neat girl stuff. All in all...great feedback from my daughter (her friends all want one now too) and this mom is happy with a good buy.

We hooked her very first ipod up for her and her eyes just lit up when she heard the music come through the speakers. She loves to carry it around and place her toys in it! Also, during Christmas she played this with her little cousins and watching them laugh and sing was entertainment for the whole family. We had a blast and laughed all day! Best 1080p projector for the money!

Pros- Under $3000!- VERY easy to set up.- Well-designed, backlit remote.- ZERO screen-door effect from real viewing distances.- Relatively bright (even in theater mode).- Excellent performance.Cons- Blacks could be a little deeper.- No vertical stretch (only an issue if you're looking to do CIH).- Menu navigation a little sluggish when using a universal remote.Being the first 1080p projector under $3000, the Epson Home Cinema 1080 arrived with a lot of hype and anticipation. I bought into that hype, and as a result I was among the first to pick up one of these bad boys the day it came out. Prior to the Epson, I had owned two different 720p HD projectors- a Sanyo Z4 and a Panasonic AX-100U. The Sanyo produced a super-sharp, noise-free picture, but I found the visible pixelation too distracting at close viewing distances. The Panasonic doesn't have that problem as it utilizes Smoothscreen technology to reduce screen-door effect, but it also results in a noticeably softer image. The Epson, on the other hand, is capable of projecting a sharp AND pixel-free image (both undoubtedly thanks to the 2 million pixels afforded by 1080p). The Epson also performs surprisingly well out the box, and after a simple calibration I found that it can deliver even more vivid and accurate color. Black level is the one area where I feel this projector is lacking. For deep, DLP-like blacks you would have to shell out another grand or two for a higher-end model like the JVC RS-1. What I did though was paint my own screen, using a special DIY mix designed to boost contrast and improve black level performance, and voila! I'm looking at a beautiful picture with much darker and convincing blacks. Summing up, the Epson is a killer deal, and for under $3000 I honestly couldn't be happier. If you haven't experienced HD front-projection before, I would advise you to go with a 720p model first as prices are tumbling and you can pick up a pretty decent model for around $1000. If you're looking to jump from 720p to the next level, and you watch a lot of HD DVD, Blu-ray, or other high-res HD material, then this is the projector for you. Highly recommended!

Amazing projector, better than expected !!!!!

I developed a good opinion about this projector from reading the various reviews on the internet, but after I hooked it up and saw a Blu Ray movie on the big screen for the first time, I was blown away by the quality. The image size was larger than expected and playing Xbox 360 games was as lifelike as possible. I had an InFocus 4805 480p projector prior to getting this one, which was a very solid projector, but the Epson produces larger images from the same distance and does HD as well. The only possible disadvantage with this projector is that it lacks keystone correction, which makes the image as straight as possible if the unit is not level. I don't think this is a major negative because the feet on the bottom of the unit are adjustable. This, along with the horizontal and vertical correction buttons make the image straight. They actually do a better job than the keystone correction on my 4805. I would strongly recommend this unit for anyone interested in a budget HD projector. For $[...], you can't go wrong with the Epson 1080.

Amazing projector for price but needs more contrast

I've done my fair of research and this is by far the best 1080p projector for the money. I've been using it with my blu-ray player and I highly recommend it. If you have any ambient light in the room and plan on watching it during the day get the "UB" version of this projector instead. It's a little bit more pricey but completely worth it. Even with a grey screen it was hard to watch this projector in my family room during the day without blacking out all the windows.

The RPS Studio Portable Monolite Kit features three 160 watt/second (w/s) monolites for a total power output of 480 w/s that are adjustable from full down to 1/8th power. Each monolight has a built-in modeling light that "tracks" the power setting of the flash tube so that the photographer can see the changes in light ratio as he sets up his shot. The modeling lights can also be turned off if the photographer wishes. The ready indicator for when the monolights have fully recycled is both audible and visual. If desired, the audible indicator can be turned off.

Additionally, the SB-160 Monolites have a built-in slave cell that allows them to be flashed with the another flash unit or the wireless transmitter included in this kit. This transmitter attaches to the camera's hot shoe and allows firing the monolights without the need for PC cords between the camera and the flash heads. This keeps the studio free of a lot of messy cords. The wireless trigger runs on 4 AA batteries and will not harm the sensitive circuitry of digital cameras. If desired, 3.5mm to pc cords do come with the kit if the photographer wishes to use a pc connection. Of course, each monolight has a test button.

This kit comes with two 36" white umbrellas and one 36" silver umbrella that slide into a holder just under the flash head. Also included are three 6'6" aluminum 3-section light stands that feature secure and quick acting flip locks. Each stand has a 5/8" spigot. Finally, everything fits neatly into a heavy duty, and heavily padded nylon storage bag with adjustable dividers that features a side pocket for small accessories. The bag can be carried via the hand grip or shoulder strap.

Great intro kit

I purchased the two-light version of this kit from a local shop nearly three years ago now. I do not shoot every day, but they have certainly been through moderate use. I haven't had any issues with them whatsoever.Power output has been very usable, very rarely have I wanted more power. In a few cases I actually wished I could even turn them down more.I did melt the front of the casing of one of mine from running the modeling lamp with a snoot attached to the front, but in all fairness I can't really put blame on the light for melting. I shouldn't have run the modeling light with the snoot on it. Some may say the light should be able to stand the temperature, but I personally can't blame the light. Especially since the light still functions perfectly, the front is just a little warped.Recycle is fairly fast, especially given the price point. Full power is maybe two seconds. Minimum power is maybe half a second.The carry case is handy, as the kit will break down into something that is fairly portable. I have used this on many occasions.The umbrellas are minimal. I upgraded them shortly after purchasing the kit. I do still use the ones that were included in the kit once in a while.My conclusion is that for a hobbyist or someone looking for an intro kit, this is one I would recommend. It has served me well, and even as I expand my equipment this kit will still remain in use.

Great for the price

I have been using two of these lights, which are really intended for occasional use, five days a week for six months. I'm careful not to shoot too fast and overheat them. I am actually surprised they have lasted this long with no problems. I did blow a fuse once and they take a special delayed fuse. If you put in a regular fuse it will just blow it again. We use them for product shots and it works well in the summer not having hot flood lights on all day.

The best

I literally get compliments from people on the street when I use this shampoo (and not so much when I don't use it). I suspect that reviewers who had bad experiences didn't leave it on their hair for the right amount of time. Read the instructions on an RF product, as the times vary according to what the product does. In this case, too little time and you get brassiness; too much and you're that little old lady with blue-purple hair. If I wash my hair first, leave the shampoo on while I wash the rest of me, and then rinse it out everything works out perfectly. I use an RF conditioner-rinse for shine as well - that's a quick on & off so I still don't wait around for the timer to finish.

keeps highlights bright.

I have purchased this product many times. I have highlighted brown hair, but over time the really light highlights get dull and gold-colored from minerals in your water. Use this once a week after you shampoo in place of a 2nd lather. Leave on 2-3 minutes and rinse well. Your hair may be more tangled than normal but your conditioner will take care of that. Don't use too often or your highlights will go from really light blonde to grayish.

Great for oily scalps!!

I use this everyother day before shampooing. My hair is much less greasy after using it!! I've also noticed that my hair seems to have more body at the roots. I bought this cage for an eclectus parrot. It's perfect for him. This same product was at a pet store in Falls Church Va. for $599 plus tax. We bought it on amazon for $336. Assembly was novice with two people. Like it or not, the cage was made in China. It is quality made.

This is a well constructed cage and much bigger than the one my african grey was in, i was a bit leary of the water and food dish but all is well the bird cannot get them out. putting it together was easy and all parts were there even extra paint in case a portion gets dammaged. i love the 2 trays it comes with i can interchange and have one ready when the bottom one gets dirty the color matches my decor well it is a grey pewter color not green as shown in the picture, i look to have many years of use

Great cage, not so great trivial problems.. Still worth the savings

I purchased this Prevue 3154 large parrot cage, and also a Prevue 5152 small parrot cage, both from Amazon itself.The small one arrived first. One box. It had a few parts banging around in the box.The one actual issue was the lower tray slides were totally twisted out of alignment. Ten minutes with some careful hammer tapping, and they were back to being lined up pretty good.Assembly was easy. Great. I waxed it, and waxing the drawer slides really make the removable parts slide. Perhaps TOO easy! The 'fit and finish' only the sloppy welds/grinding under the paint. and the somewhat messy paint and scratches in the trays.. But from a few feet away, it looks fine.I like the cage.The large Prevue 3154 with two boxes each arriving on a different day.The first box of small parts all was well. The second box was not so well.In it, one of the cage sides (one with dish holders) was seriously bent with a huge "S" curve in the middle. I was lucky I had already banged out the small parrot cage issues. So i set out to 'fix' the curve with a hammer, and a block of wood. With some patience, and a little wear on the paint (though none of the paint actually came off) I was able to reform it into a straight panel. Lucky. ((for many it would not be feasible, as I am rather handy AND patient(and knew the paint would stand up to hammering, and was willing to wack away at it) , it was possible.)Additional issues were one of the 8 metal "U" clips welded to the back (to hold the sides down) came loose. I had to go buy an epoxy glue for metal, and clean and reattach the part. Decent job, not pretty. (never did it before) Hope it sticks.Also the front door has a painted over glob of welding material right at the top of the door.Some of the parts are welded crooked. And a few touch ups are evident in the paint.If I paid retail for this i would be returning it.Calling Prevue's 800 number (supplied) was worthless. I emailed them and we will see what happens. The final bit was one of the rubber inserts holding the casters was missing. I asked them via email to send me one.I have no idea if they would have been willing to replace the "S" messed up side. The backside with the broken off clip, and the front door.As it is, I am satisfied since I am able to fix the problems. (even the rubber part is a common hardware store item.)For the money, it is a good cage for anyone able to handle a few rough bits like I did.Some of the cage parts bend very easily. And can be tapped with a hammer (or banged as needed) to straighten.To anyone I would say you have a good chance of needing some of these same skills I used if you buy this cage online.Would Prevue send replacement parts to those not so lucky, or not so willing to do this work? I do not know.So I give th cages a FOUR STAR. Not perfect. but pretty good.My birds like them.(though I plan on adding a 'porch' under the door. My birds love the drawbridge type door on their old cages which with a chain on the side can be a porch. So i may find a way to have a flap fold 'up, which can clip 'up' to horizontal via a chain on one side for them to have a 'porch' back again.)(someone should make these sorts of things..)For those with no patience for little issues. buy it locally and pay the extra $200. And make the dealer set it up.... (so you are buying one you can SEE, before paying for it.)

Pretty Good, But Not Mica

Overall impression: a well-made, attractive lamp.Details: First, the lampshade panels are NOT made of mica; they're plastic. It's very, very good plastic, and looks a lot like mica, but it's still plastic. It's not quite the same as real mica. (Note: the lampshade frame is made of metal.) Having said that, the lamp is well-made, the glow from the lights thru the shade is an attractive amber glow. The shade is open at the bottom, so it makes a good reading lamp for someone sitting in a chair next to it. The shade sits low enough so that if I am sitting on my sofa across from the lamp, I can't see the lightbulbs. Would be better if the light sockets were 3-way, but a handy guy could probably change those out without much trouble.All-in-all, I'm happy with it. Looks good, well-made and functional.

Only 5 ft tall...not what I expected for floor lamp

My fault, no where did it list height of lamp, but it is only 5 ft tall and I expected 6+ feet, I like the way it looks but is too short for my living room where I had planned to use it...Please list accurate dimensions, please!!!

My only complaint would be that the "mica" is not real mica. However, it's a nice looking lamp. Super well packed when it arrived.
