I looked for a long time to find a watch which would be a nice piece of jewelry and an accurate time piece. The Momemtum by St Moritz is both a beautiful time piece and keeps accurate time. As it is an automatic wind, I purchased a watch winder for those times I am not wearing it. I am perfectly satified with this watch.

Pretty darn nice

So Im not a fan of Gold Plate anything and had never really even heard of this company before.The one I purchased was screen worn by Craig Bierko in the movie Scary Movie 4 - I got a really good deal on it, so I bought it.I collect watches...This watch is awesome. Quality Quality Quality. This automatic keeps excellent time ( It hasnt even been serviced in 6 years -- Ill do that soon-but only to keep it in tip top shape - it doesnt need it) Im very impressed to say the least. Heavy weight, nice size -- runs like a dream -- keeps better time than my Rolex. I will buy more from this company...I cant seem to take it off -- it just feels right.Its become my favorite.

Great Drums!

I just ordered this drum set for my daughters birthday. We got the drums delivered much quicker then expected and we couldn't be happier with the quality of these drums. Everything was packaged perfectly making set up very easy and all the parts were there. My husband, a drummer himself, played on the kit and loved it! Great Real Drums!

These are wonderful, excellent made drums. They are certainly not cheaply made. Real wood and metal instead of plastic means that my girl can drum away and they last! She loves these and they are solid. Only small issue is that the instructions could be more specific but once assembled they rock!

Excellent quality!

Bought this watch for my girlfriend as a birthday gift and she absolutely loved it. The cordura band is the most comfortable she's ever worn and the watch itself is nicely colored and visible. the numbers and hands light up after being charged in the sunlight for a while and it even has a date window. The watch uses a screwdown technology that seals it from water damage and is used to adjust the time and date.

Awesome blade

I bought this for a considerable discount a couple of years ago. Had it not been discounted I don't know that I would pay what they are currently asking. Forrest blades are some of the best if not the best around.99% of my cuts leave no fur and do not tear out. I am not one to take my time when cutting either, I put it down, line it up and cut it, so if I took my time it would probably cut perfectly 100% of the time.There are some blades that are just about as good for a lot less money, so depending on your use, it might not be worth it to go for this blade. This blade should last a lifetime and doesn't require much sharpening compared to a lot of others, so you do get what you pay for, it's just that you have to pay a lot more to get it. This blade is more for serious woodworkers/carpenters than diyers/handymen, but if you were looking at it you probably knew as much as I have said anyway!***** at my price, **** at $200-300.

A real challenge

Getting my spouse a watch that is simple, easy to read and most importantly fits a small wrist has been a real challenge. She loves this, and I think it is an excellent option - the 'screw down' setting takes a little while to get used to, but when you realize it makes the watch a more solid and durable option, you'll come to like it too.

The best

This was very easily worth the money. The security of knowing that your eyes and face are shielded from the same dust you are avoiding breathing is great. Additionally, the visor gives much better visibility than do safety glasses, which won't protect your face anyway. This face shield will protect from splashes, dust, and major impacts. I use this when operating belt grinders, buffing wheels, wood and metal lathes, and tablesaws. In all cases it is great having the security that if you make an error, or your workpiece fails catastrophically, your face is protected.cons: it is quite heavy, and if coupled with organic vapor cartridges rather than the 1097 pink dust cartridges, it can be very tiring for your neck if you have a non ideal work position (picture looking down at a buffing wheel) it is important to do neck strengthening exercises and stretches and to take breaks when wearing this mask.

Call me a Forrest Fanboy

This is an excellent blade that does cut plastics with very little melt and chipping.Using a sloppy throat plate, slightly toed in fence, maybe .002 too far towards the blade at the back of the blade the cut was vastly better and easier than with any other blade in the shop on 1/4" Lucite and 1/8" plex.I can't say that the edge left in 1/4" is as good as advertized but it is indeed better than a realistic expectation.If you cut plastic on a table saw this blade will spoil you.

Bold, classic watch for outdoor sports

I got this Momentum Atlas as a second watch for outdoor sports and wanted something a litte out of the ordinary. The bright red dial certainly fits that function, but the pictures here don't capture the color very well so I thought I would write a brief review. The red dial isn't as light as the main picture of this watch, or as dark as the picture with the measurements. It's shiny, candy red that turns different shades in different light conditions, which brings an element of interest to the design. I find that its bold color goes well with its classic field watch design, and I'm wearing it much more often than I had planned.It's also functional. Its size looks good on my fairly small wrists and fits comfortably. I've had the same cordura strap on my other watch for a year and a half and it's held up well, and its simplicity makes it a good match for this watch. Being titanium and having a screw down crown makes it , as would be expected, extremely lightweight and fully waterproof. It glows bright enough at night to read the time all the way though the night, but it's not as easy to read as it is during the day. I have another momentum watch I've had for years and their service department told me that they can upgrade it to sapphire face when I get the battery changed which would make it pretty much indestructibe.

Poor Craftmanship

I'm thinking about sending this one back due to an improper fit where the bolster meets the handle. Going to call Shun and post a picture of the perceived defect. This is the 5th Shun knife I purchased recently and I don’t see any similar defects on them.

I have a set of Shun knives. They are unlike any knives I've ever owned, including some others that were pretty expensive. They're so sharp!!! Amazing brand, amazing for chefs or chef enthusiasts! Keep them clean and store them in a safe place and these knives will last for a lifetime!

One of the best blades on the market

Cuts like a hot knife in butter...seriously. No burning and no tearout. The blade is very heavy and the carbide tips are some of the biggest I have ever seen. Not that most people will ever need it, but you get multiple sharpenings out of this blade (find a good reputable sharpening place, ask your local woodworking or equipment shops). Originally I only had the Forrest WWII 40 tooth, and honestly could have gotten away with just that blade for all rips and crosscuts. But was hard to pass up the 60 tooth at such a good price.

This is the first time to purchase a Forrest blade and it certainly won't be the last. I haven't had it long, but it has easily cut 1 1/2" oak without burning, even on a slow cut. There's a little splintering when crosscutting, but nothing out of the ordinary.It's definitely worth what I paid for it.

Sustains Forrest's Reputation

I've been seeing things about the Forrest Blade for many (!) years and finally gave in, bit the bullet ($$) and now have this 12" blade on my Dewalt12" compound slider. This blade performs just as I expected it to. Slick cross cuts on hard wood, wonderful cuts on ply (birch) with minimal to no bottom side chipping. I got just a few weeks of work out of it so can't speak to longer term durability.A wonderful tool for finish work.
