Great Dive Watch

I bought this watch because it's very stylish and I wanted a back up bottom timer for diving. The watch itself keeps great time and also has an approximate 5 year battery life from the manufacture. The bezel is easy to turn and the build quality is very solid. Water resistance and watch quality is rated within the ISO 6425 standard I called Momentum myself to check this before I actually got in the water with it. I've personally been down to 82' with this watch with zero problems and it glows very well in low light situations in my opinion. Just remember if you're swimming or diving with this watch be sure that the crown is screwed down all the way before you get into the water. The only thing that I consider a flaw with this product is the "natural rubber" bands themselves. Don't get me wrong they're great quality bands however the natural rubber will start to dry out and crack over time. Momentum does offer replacement rubber bands from their website for $30 plus S&H. They also offer nylon and stainless steel bands but I went to the local drug store and bought an $8 velcro band for super cheap and it works just the same. In case you were wondering the band size is 18mm. The price is also very good considering the quality. I just wish it was an automatic movement so I wouldn't have to send the watch to the manufacture for a battery change to ensure the water resistance.

Great watch at a great price

I ordered this watch as an everyday watch that I could also dive with. Has proven to be a great buy. I have not had any issues with this watch. A jewler did have some difficulty in removing links from the band, but I took it to another jewler who had no problem at all. The only downside is that it's date is very simple, in that you must move the watch forward in those months that do not have 31 days.

Great watch...

I ordered this watch back in 2006. I wore it every day for the last 6 years and it had many hours in the pool/water and close to 100 dives on it, with one dive as deep as 137 feet back in 2008. Awesome watch. However, the last time I took it in to have the battery changed, the jeweler (I guess) didn't put it back together correctly and it flooded 2 weeks ago. So, it is no longer working. Although I did love this watch and it's smaller size (I'm not a large male with big wrists) I am going to purchase an automatic watch this time so I don't have rely on jewelers to change out the battery.

Good, for the price...

Hello, I just received this watch today, and have been playing with it all day. Here are my thoughts:1. The case, bezel, and face are well constructed and solid feeling. Bezel is crisp, and the face detail is fine.2. The bracelet is just ok. The links are very difficult to remove, even with a pin pusher. When you put them back in, they have a tendency to flatten out and smash, rather than just tuck down in the holes. There is no "middle size" link to remove, so fitment can be hit or miss. I managed to get one link out of the 6 O'clock position, however the watch still slides toward the back of my wrist. If I take another link out, the watch becomes too small.3. Biggest complaint is the high-reflective wave pattern on the face. Looks ok indoors or in the shade, however in the bright Florida sun, the dial can often become so reflective that you cant read the time.Overall, for the money, this seems to be a decent "every day" watch. Better than a lot of store bought watches, but not as nice as I had hoped (from all the reviews I read).Hope this helps you in a decision....JPS

Clean all the things!

I learned of Zep 40 back around 2001 I think from a Zep rep I purchased from at a company I used to work for. I have never seen it available for purchase at any stores. A case lasts us about 5 years. All I can say is it will clean generally anything you throw at it. You can use it to clean counter tops, windows, floors (tile, vinyl, linoleum), mirrors, ranges/cooktops, microwaves inside and out, you name it. It's great stuff. It doesn't streak glass, it's got a foaming action to it.If you have some really stubborn grease or something on your surfaces from cooking, spray it on, leave it sit for a few minutes and just wipe it away with a paper towel. For example, if you're like me, you pull out your range every few months to clean the sides/back/under/floor/etc. You know that sticky film it builds up that's pratically impossible to get off with a sponge and your typical grease cutting dish soap? And then sometimes gets little bits of crud and stuff stuck down the sides of the range, and the cabinets? Hit it all with a good spray down of this Zep 40, let it sit about 5 mins, lightly hit it again and wipe up. It eliminates all of it in one go! Of course be smart with it around pets and on food surfaces, it is a chemical, but I've never had any issues with it. I usually chase it with a quick food safe cleaner if I've used it on such a surface.I couldn't more highly recommend any other general purpose, do it all cleaner than this! This is the real deal.

Burns plywood.

When crosscutting plywood and a butcher block with a Milwaukee 6394-21 circular saw I was unable to get burn free cuts. When the spinning blade touches the material it starts to smoke. I contacted the manufacturer but was unable to get a "straight" answer as to why an expensive universal saw blade is unable to cut hard wood. I checked my saw for any flaws and corrected any angles that might have impacted performance, but again no dice. Using the blade that came with my saw I had no problems, although the cuts are a bit ragged hence my need for more quality and teeth. While this product is being advertised as a crosscut and rip blade designed for cutting plywood with circular saws, it is not, so buyer beware. I did crosscut a plank of redwood and that turned out fine, but this isn't being advertised as a specialized blade for softwoods. I used this blade once, but after a month my Amazon return period expired. The manufacturer would not provide a refund also. They did agree to send me a new blade, although it's the less expensive Woodworker II and I'll have to "eat" the shipping cost. Perhaps my case is unique, but I felt the need to describe my experience so other people can make a more informed decision.

Finally found it!

I have been looking for a waterproof watch for years but have not found any untill now. There are such watches on the market but too large for a woman.This Momentum M50 DSS available in a smaller size is perfect. Fits nicelly on my arm. A beautiful piece of highest quality. I am looking forward to wearing it dayly in office as well as diving in the sea. In fact it fits also nicelly to an eveneing dress. For service I have to send my watch toa service-center i Germany or Britain, because I live in Sweden, but that is not a big thing. I am very quality-minded,wants things to be perfect. This Momentum watch, women's size, is the right one for any girl or woman who is sailing or diving or just lives near the ocean!

Super Watch

Don't know why, but there are a few Canadian watch makers out there that are putting out GREAT watches. St Moritz is no exception. The specs on this watch really jump out at you: 316L stainless (same as rolex), sapphire crystal, Lithium battery, etc. I bought this watch in black with SS band and sight unseen (except for pictures). It is a little bit thicker than I would have liked, looks a little bit flashy (the 5" markers are polished metal finish)and the face is charcoal rather than black. Other than that, this watch is a home run!!! Why it doesn't cost $500+ is amazing to me. I bought it with SS band simply because many dive rubber bands are so large (to fit over a wet suit) as to be unuseable in regular wear--I didn't know if this was the case here and didn't want to chance it. The SS band is $60 more but is very high quality, including solid end links. Rolex or Omega would charge several hundred for this band alone! My preference is for nylon straps though. I use a 22mm military-issued nylon strap and it fits and feels great...I think it looks better in this configuration also.And if I could offer one bit of advice: do not get an automatic movement in a low end watch (ie. not Rolex or other). The periodic expensive servicings and poor timekeeping accuracy will wear on you sooner or later!

Feel the Momentum!

After struggling to spend several hundred dollars on a watch, and looking at everything I could see everywhere....I splurged and got the Momentum MDV51UO M50 DSS Blue Dial Steel Bracelet Watch. This watch is fantastic! Its looks are superb and classy, while having a nice little bit of sport/zing. The blue color is gorgeous and is truly 'under-displayed' in the photo on the website. The weight feels like a rich bracelet, and it falls correctly on my wrist, even without a little tweak on the sizing. I was able to alter the time to my timezone (it was right on the time, just off on the hour as it came from EST), and it was simple to adjust the date. It's done well in the shower and has kept its time precisely. Will test out its deeper water abilities next month and will update you all on how well it does. I'm expecting nothing short of satisfaction, as that's been the case since this little beauty arrived on my doorstep. Thanks Amazon for great service!!! waiting so long...

The boots are true to size and beautiful.They are a little stiff, heels are just right and covers my calf. I've been wearing cowgirl boots since the 80's and now just want to collect different colors and styles. The price can't be beat, now for a red pair! Love it and Amazon prices too!

Directions are easy and you really don't even need them so I do not see why so many persons complain about them and I am by far NO handy person - I hate putting things together and have no patience and I did it all within 30 minutes and after a few minutes put the directions aside and just looked the picture on the box - pretty simple

Great Watch - band ripped, though

I found this watch while searching what is available for extremely deep water depths that still fit into my budget (wait for a sale), looks good, and has great reviews. I've had the watch for a couple of years now and it still works and looks great - and I wear it a lot.The rubber strap ripped halfway early on at one of the holes, and completely ripped across just yesterday... so now I'm online to buy another watch strap. (Probably the same one.)

better then you think

Maybe the more expensive Vizio has a better picture but this picture is very good. The sound is excellent for a small device. At least on par with amplified MP3 externals and way better then an iPad. The point of portable is so you don't have to lug around more parts (like external speakers) to make it work. The built in antennae doesn't work at all indoors but the included external is phenominal. Ok, I live in Los Angeles, but I get a zillion stations, In korean, Japanese, Spanish, Tagolog and of course English. Actually way to many and you do have to reset the tuner when you move the set. This little TV is perfect for casual viewing where the sound is what your paying attention to while your doing something else and glancing at the Tv when it perks your interest.

i am convinced

we worked around this cabinet guy that was using a forrest blade this summer and he told me how much he liked it. So I tried a couple. this 16" and a 10" and man was he right. Super sharp, just glides through your work. They are thicker and have a much wider kerf, but man oh man what a beautiful cut. We put the 16" on a makita beam saw and used it on poplar, oak and locust for this rustic cabin we worked on for 3 months. The blade would cut splinter free and straight and clean every time. I will probably get a few more of them this year for some of our other saws. Great blades. I am a believer!

Great product!!!

Price was extremely low for this product. We have bought several in the past for almost double this price. Saying that, we had our doubts about quality of carbide tips but they have really stood it's ground on the work we have done with it. I would the Forrest saw blades to anyone I know.
