Nice after put together

holes were drilled just a bit off to make screwing in with their tool impossible for a woman. Thankfully we had better tools handy, plus the fact that it's a soft wood, that I could get it together. But don't expect to rely on what they provide.I like this item the more it's been used. It stores a lot of coloring books and the kids seem really happy with it. Wipes up easily and is very sturdy.

I purchased this table and chairs for my soon to be two year old granddaughter who loves to climb and no longer wants to sit in her booster seat. She absolutely loves it and it is sturdy enough foe her seven year old sister and her grand parents! The natural wood tones goes nicely with wood floors in the family room.

I am very happy with this product. It is solidly built and the finish appears to be of good quality. It is, however, difficult to screw the bulbs in since the frosted glass cylinders are a bit narrow. Really no way around this considering the form factor. I have large hands and managed - you will figure it out. Recommended.

Looks Great...Beware Particle Wood Construction!

We bought this great looking table & chair (2) set in blue for my son when he was 2 years old. He loved eating his breakfast in the family room each morning, but because his hand-eye coordination wasn't quite fully developed he'd often spill his oatmeal & juice everywhere. So we ordered this table online from Wal-Mart and he was so excited when it arrived. It fit him absolutely perfectly! He used it constantly for eating, coloring, play-dough, puzzles, reading, or just sitting. It is very easy to put together, however, there is a fatal flaw in its construction.Unfortunately, while this table looks great, it's construction is very cheap. Underneath the solid veneers of the larger/thicker pieces of the table are nothing more than cheap, pressed particle wood. This is especially true in the table and chair legs. Within a year of purchase, the legs on our table began to wobble. Then they wobbled worse, and worse, and finally the fastening nut in one of the table legs popped out and it collapsed on my son. At first, I thought it was because he was putting too much pressure on the table top. But the truth was that the fastening nuts used to secure the legs to the tabletop are embedded in nothing but cheap, compressed particle wood. And while I will accept partial blame for the table collapsing because I have a tendency to overtighten screws and bolts on my son's furniture (I'm a new dad), I will not accept blame for the garbage materials used to construct this table. If the table and chair legs were made out of solid wood vice particle, then this incident never would have happened. Unfortunately, nothing is made of real, solid wood anymore...it's just too expensive and not very "green."So a word of caution. If you do buy this table, DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN the bolts on the table and chair legs. If you do, it will eventually cause the nuts in the legs to pull out of the particle wood. First, your table will wobble, and eventually the wobble will become so bad that it will render the table dangerous for a child to use.UPDATE: August 2012Ignoring my own review above, and not being able to find another table for my (now) 5 year old son, I purchased another one of these horrendous tables. This time, I assembled the table without tightening the screws too tight. I thought that might work, but something inside me knew that this table would not last the year...I was right.It has been less than a year and one of the table legs has already broken off specifically due to the tightening nuts inside the cheap particle wood coming loose, and then eventually ripping out completely. My son almost smashed his face in on the table this time when he pushed down on the table to get up from his chair. Ridiculous...these things are UNSAFE and should be completely removed from the market. I have a feeling these things are made in China.DO NOT BUY!!! DO NOT BUY!!! DANGEROUS!!! CHEAP!!! JUNK MATERIALS!!! SHODDY CONSTRUCTION!!!

Beautiful set, not sturdy.

We bought this for our daughter. Loved it! Beautiful. Was warned to be very gentle putting it together - we did and didn't split any of the pieces. On day #1, the table was scooted a bit to make room for something and one of the legs splintered - wobbly leg now, which cannot be fixed. Now, every time the kiddo pushes on the table the least little bit, we have to re-stabilize the leg to keep it from falling off. Recommend being very careful - make sure to pick it up to move it. We've grown weary of trying to keep it together (we've had it about 2 months), so we're simply going to look for something different.

Well constructed rocking chair

I guess I didn't realize that I would have to put this rocker together, but it only took about an hour. The wooden pieces were well made, had extremly smooth surfaces with no rough edges, and turned out to be very sturdy. My granddaughter loved it!

Incredibly intense color

I don't know what brought Dr. Martin's dyes to mind after all these years -- Illustrator and Photoshop long ago replaced my now-ancient traditional art tools, but it's difficult not to feel nostalgic remembering the joy of using these products. The colors are INTENSE, like nothing else. Absolutely the best for drawing and painting. 100% recommended. These are top-of-the-line art materials. Do yourself a favor and buy some decent illustration board to use these. Or good watercolor paper. Anything but copy paper!

Unfortunately, the depth of the product means that your TV will sit more than 4+ inches off the wall, despite the fact that the description says only 2.5. If you have to use the larger mounting brackets, there's a 6 inch gap between the TV and the wall.I was looking for a mount that would be somewhat close to the wall and still swivel out for viewing in a different part of the room. I thought this would be good, since the description said it'd only be approx 2 inches off the wall and because of the box that encloses all of the mounting hardware. However, keep in mind that with a 4-6" gap behind your TV, the vertical brackets and everything is still viewable.I ended up returning it and simply buying a Peerless flush mount without the articulating arm.

Completely satisfied

This is an excellent mount. We wanted to mount our 46" TV inside of a cabinet where we had about 8" of depth to work with. This was the shallowest mount that I could find. When you fold it up, it's about 2" deep, not including the adapter plate which adds another inch or so. It's very solidly built but in spite of it's heavy-duty construction, it is effortless to pull out and swivel (it can sometimes be a little tougher to pop back into the fully-closed position). The installation instructions were thorough and it comes with tons of hardware to work with a variety of sets. You can't go wrong with this mount.

Buy at your own risk - had issues with TWO sets of this product!

Lipper fully discloses the size of the table as well as the seat height to the table height. Some reviewers said their 2-3 year olds like the table, but I see this as more of a child's set than a toddler set. We had to go through two sets as the first set came incomplete and badly packaged, along with damage to the corner of the tabletop. It almost looked like someone returned it, and it was reshipped either by Amazon or Lipper. In this video, you'll see some issues we had with what we thought was pretty poor quality (drilling a hole, then redrilling and covering up the initial mistake), a slight wobble (annoying to the anal like my husband!) and differences in chairs in case you are considering buying additional chairs. I hope this helps! Overall, the product I'd rate 3 stars, but quality control seems poor enough to rate it two stars - not fun for your frustration level if you get a bad set - and BOTH our sets had issues.

Strong, Sturdy AND Good Looking!

We got this table as a gift for our son two years ago when he was three. It is a wonderful table!I'm impressed with how strong and sturdy it is. I frequently sit at the table with my son while we work on projects and feel perfectly comfortable putting my full weight (I'm not a small person) onto the chair. As a matter of fact, we routinely use the chair as a "step-stool" to get things off of his high shelves. The chairs set firmly on the floor -- I can't remember anyone ever falling over in one. It gets used on a regular basis and I haven't noticed any scratches or scuffs. (We have the Pecan finish.) It is also quite attractive with a classic simple design. My son especially likes the little shelf area under the table-top where he stores his markers and drawing paper. I like that it blends nicely with our other Craftsman style furniture and does not look cheap. I put the table together by myself with no problems and two years later have never had to tighten any of the bolts.I would agree with some of the reviewers that this table is more to scale for a primary-school age child and not so much for a toddler. But personally I like the size. Although his feet didn't touch the floor while sitting in the chair when he was three, my son was still able to get on and off the chairs by himself and we won't need to replace it later because it is too small. In my opinion, it is the perfect "in between" size to grow with my son.One suggestion I do have is to purchase some of those felt pads for the bottom of the chair and table legs. We have hardwood floors and the chairs get skidded around quite a bit and scratched the floor before I was able to put pads on them.

Excellent value - will last for years

This is a great table and chairs set. It is solid wood, sturdy, and nice looking. It is also a good height for my 6 year old and will last probably until she is ten or so. It is tall enough that I am comfortable sitting at it with her to play games. Putting it together was fairly easy as long as you have muscles, because you have to screw the bolts in really tight and it is tough! My husband did it. The chairs are really easy to put together.I would have given it 5 stars but for three things:1. The screws stand out because they are metal and are not hidden at all.2. The cubbies are a strange size - they don't really fit standard paper, we'll use the cubbies for bins of crayons, markers, etc.3. Mine came with a small scratch on the tabletop - not bad enough to send back, but annoying.We were not planning on ordering the extra chairs, but we've changed our minds - they will actually fit side by side on the long side. You could have 6 chairs fit around this table if you needed it. This will also be nice to use during dinners with family and friends for the kids table. The cherry finish is really pretty - you won't regret buying it.

Awesome

This stapler saved my sanity. Very quiet. I was under assault from three Bostich Electric Staplers that sounded like nail guns. Replaced with the Max EH-70F and now I'm able to work again!!! Its a terrific stapler for heavy use and as advertised up to 70 pages. Expensive, but worth it if you work in an office with co-workers who "need" everything automated.

MAX EH-70F Flat Cinch Electric Stapler

Very good, very quiet stapler that will staple approximately 70 sheets of paper with no problem. I would recommend the stapler to anyone. I purchased a previous stapler (a competitor's), and it proved so loud that I couldn't use it at the office--it annoyed too many people. This is the replacement stapler, and I couldn't be happier.

Solid set, maybe too solid!

I bought this set for my daughter who is 23 months old. We have a small kitchen and this set fit perfectly into the corner. (BTW, Fred Meyer had this exact same set in their 2008 Christmas toy catalogue for $50 but only available in blue or pink.) Shortly after I'd assembled it, my daughter hit her head against the edge of the table. Don't know how it happened but she hit her temple and the cut was so deep my doctor recommended stitches. She did not hit the corner of the table, just one of its edges. The edge of this table and the chairs are *very square*. It's still a great table -- very solid. I'm now very careful when my daughter is around it. I'm sure as she gets older I won't need to worry as much but I thought others contemplating this purchase should be aware of any potential hazards.

Great Childrens Table

In the first shipping order I recieved of this table I found that one of the chair pieces was damaged. I returned the set and was quickly refunded by Amazon. At the same time I also ordered another as I was impressed with the quality of the product. The next table and chair set came in perfect condition. I ordered the green and white set for my 16mo old daughter. This set is solid and made of wood! Yes, wood - not particle board. It was very easy to put together. Each chair had four pieces and six heavy duty hex screws, and the tabletop required four screws for each leg. All of the screws and adjacent holes lined up perfectly. I am 170lbs and I do not worry about sitting on these chairs with my daughter (with care of course). I am very happy with this purchase and so was my daughter!

Its a good quality, great looking , fun color, easy to put together (my husband was out of town, so I put it together my self !)Its a good size, my daughter is 2 years old now but I think she'll be able to use it for a few years.The price is great for the style and quality. I was looking for kids tables for a long time, this one had the best price and best style.So happy that I got it !Plus I got free shipping from amazon, cannot get better than that!

Excellent Cleaner, Great for Allergies, Very Durable!

I've owned this vacuum for over 12-15 years. My parents got it for me when I was in high school after we discovered I had dust allergies (in addition to asthma). I have toted it around everywhere I've lived in college and beyond--in various apartments, houses, etc--and it has held up *excellently.* Needless to say, I wasn't always very cautious with it (bang it around a little through all the moves, or when I'm cleaning and pulling the canister/base around) and it has withstood it all. I'm 30 now and married, and even though my husband gripes about how it's less 'convenient' than a regular vacuum, I LOVE it and will never use anything else because:1--for a person with allergies, this vacuum is a god-send. I'm so used to it I almost gag every time I use another vacuum (at someone else's place) because other vacuums send out dust in the exhaust, and don't trap it immediately in water like this vacuum.2--Even though my parents paid a lot for it, it has totally withstood the test of time and is made of very high-quality material. Not one thing has broken, rusted, chipped, worn, or anything in this last decade! That says a lot in this age of built-in-obsolescence!!3--the wheels are great--they move 360 degrees and make it *very* easy to pull this thing around. The cord is also durable and long, so you can take it pretty far without having to find a new outlet.4--I *love* that it's environmentally low-impact--no bags to purchase (ie, no packaging, no gas used to transport) that then fill up landfills! Just dump it all down the toilet.5--the little accessories/different heads it comes with are great. I've been careful and haven't lost any of them, and they reach every nook and cranny.I should also note that I've been very good with its upkeep--I wipe the rubber interior down every time with a towel (so it doesn't crack) and I *never* store it with a damp canister attached--that can also crack the rubber. I've also brushed the little motor part inside like you're supposed to so it doesn't get clogged.My only wish is that I had the special parts to suck up water spills.Overall, this thing, now that I think about it, is like a trusty best friend. A big investment, yes, but if you take care of it and keep up the maintenance, it might just last a lifetime!

Best thing you could buy!

I would have to say that this is a very heavy vacuum. It does weight about ten to fifteen pounds. "BUT" what this vacuum does, is worth the weight. I have alergies and this is a life saver. I couldn't seem to get rid of dust or pet dander, but when I use this vacuum it takes what was in the air and puts it into water. The suction is amazing. I see things in the water that I didn't even know was there. It really does the work for a DEEP clean. Yes it isn't something you use when you are doing daily cleaning, but when it comes to needing to get things clean this vacuum does the job. The best.

Cleanliness That You Can Feel - Great For Allergies

Pros:-When you use a conventional vacuum cleaner, you see dust blown all over especially if you look with the sun rays streaming through your window. You see a much big difference using this vac. One of our sons have bad allergies and this helps a lot.-You not only see the difference, you also feel that you are breathing much cleaner air.-No expensive bags to buyCons:-It is heavy as a bulldozer. Imagine hauling it up and down the stairs. This is the reason we use this vac not as often as our other regular vac. My wife has to call me to help tugging it along.-Price - too much! We got it half price, but probably we still paid too much.-Maneuverability. Annoying and it really needs some muscle to work with it.-You also need to clean the vacuum every single time you use it. No, you cannot wait until the bag is full - there is no bag. It has a canister that you fill halfway with water and if you do not clean after each use, it grows bacteria and smells like a dead skunk. Believe me, we have done that.-It is a hassle to use. Need assembly every time you use it.-So loud
