Brilliant Concentrated Watercolor Dye for brush, pen, or airbrush. For work intended to be reproduced like cartooning, illustration, and graphic arts. Use on paper, illustration board, or silk with additives. Sets of 14 colors in convenient 1/2 oz. dropper stopper bottles. Conforms to ASTM d-4236. Set A contains lemon yellow, orange persimmon, alpine rose, scarlet, cherry red, moss rose, turquoise blue, true blue, violet, grass green, juniper green, saddle brown and black. Set B contains daffodil yellow, amber yellow, tangerine, crimson, wild rose cyclamen, ultra blue, slate blue, april green, moss green, olive green, golden brown, mahogany, and sepia. Set C contains tapestry, pumpkin, burnt orange, hyacinth blue, norway blue, chartreuse, jungle green, tobacco brown, ice pink, tropical gold, tropical pink, ice yellow, calypso green, and antelope brown.

Incredibly intense color

I don't know what brought Dr. Martin's dyes to mind after all these years -- Illustrator and Photoshop long ago replaced my now-ancient traditional art tools, but it's difficult not to feel nostalgic remembering the joy of using these products. The colors are INTENSE, like nothing else. Absolutely the best for drawing and painting. 100% recommended. These are top-of-the-line art materials. Do yourself a favor and buy some decent illustration board to use these. Or good watercolor paper. Anything but copy paper!

30 years ago I received this set of Dr. Martin's radiant watercolors as a gift. I've used them on occasion since then, forgetting about them for the last 8 years. Today my daughter found them and painted a beautiful landscape with them! I can't believe it's been that long since I painted my first landscape. These last and last....
