4Please note the distance between lugs is 18mm, not 20mm as listed
By M. Gans
The watch is well-described in many of the reviews around the internet and is a great value. Please note, though, that the band width is 18 mm. I learned this to my dismay after I ordered a 20mm Maratac band, (black with yellow stitching), which I now have to return or toss. The distance between the lugs is correctly listed for other versions of the watch, such as the orange dial.

4nice looking watch
By pepe
I just got it today, and I really like the way it looks and feels. The only problem for me is that the band is too long. I have a small wrist ( a little more than six inches) and even going all the way to the last hole, it feels kind of loose.I understand that is made for diving and it has to be long to use it with the suit but I own some other watches for diving and is the first time I encounter this problem. Is not a deal breaker for me. I still like the watch, but some other people may or may not like this.

4nice diving watch
By Luc D'Hauwe
Bought this diving watch as Nelos diving federation requires us to have a backup method to calculate decompression time besides our traditional diving computer. With this watch, my analog depthmeter and diving tables I have now a valid backup method. But besides that this is also a nice watch; which is easy to read under and above the sea-surface.A good value for money

5Pelican Recoil LED
By Antoni B. Goral
A good small handheld to look into crevices very bright... don't test it on yourself you'll get blinded, Critical that you vaseline the O Ring. I have two and the one I didn't got water in it at 65 feet for 40 minutes. It still worked but it is amazing how fast galvanic corrison of anything metallic with an electric current happens at depth and salt water. Still works but how long after this event is the question. My Fault not Pelicans!

5Even better now... 84 Lumens!
By Harry
My Pelican Flashlight arrived today 03/20/10. It's well worth the price. I got a pleasant surprise! It now has an 84 lumen LED rather than the 32 lumens advertised. (1 Watt "Recoil" LED). It is still rated 32 hours battery life on 4 AA Alkaline batteries, even though it's more than twice as bright now. The glow in the dark feature fades quite fast, but would give you time to find the flashlight after a power outage. NOTE: If you already have one of these and need a new bulb, make sure you order the newer 84 lumen module. I highly recommend this flashlight.

5See and be seen
By C. Richards
The Pelican Stealthlight 2410PL is a significant advance in LED flashlights. LED flashlights can be bright without throwing much of a beam, but the 2410PL's design produces a bright beam that carries far for its size. The photoluminescent shroud improves the chances of being seen from the side, making it a good choice for use near roadways. It is a sturdy, compact and very bright light for four AA batteries!

5Better than Kitchenaid
By koffeemann
I make bread weekly using a mixer and recently my Kitchenaid motor gave out after overheating. Though I prefer the looks of the Kitchenaid mixers (something more industrial about them), Cuisinart has addressed several of the key problems found in Kitchenaid mixers: not enough power, overly wide bowl shape, absene of timer/minimal speed control. The stronger motor is crucial if you're mixing bread doughs for minutes at a time. The taller, more narrow bowl shape prevents spilling. The timer function is tremendously useful. And the wider range of speeds (especially slow speeds) and gentle acceleration up to any speed, again, prevent spills and allow for more control.Other features I like: the spill guard fits neatly and is ONE piece (again, unlike my old Kitchenaid); the lock feature clicks the top arm into place so you never run the risk of lifting from the top and having the bottom swing out; the smooth surfaces make for easy clean-up; the attachments all wash easily in the dishwasher.A great product!

5Unexpected Pleasure and Performance
By Robert Brian Lamm
I have owned a few KitchenAid 5 Qt mixers, and even a Hobart Professional 5 Qt (45 lbs, 3 speed manual transmission). I was disappointed to hear (but never experienced) the problems users encountered when KitchenAid changed their gearbox from metal to plastic (yes, their gearbox, not their gears). Therefore, the assurance that currently appears on their product box that their mixers have "all metal gears" does not address the problem of the gearbox COVER material. Whether K'Aid has addressed this issue has never really been clarified by them adequately for my taste, and so my temptation to purchase the 6 qt. KitchenAid was dampened.I purchased the Cuisinart 7 Quart because I wanted the extra capacity - simply that. I find that its power is adequate for all tasks, and no matter what the speed setting, it "knows" to ramp up to that speed slowly (so as not to produce a cloud of flour or other ingredients with the potential to scatter), something only possible with the advent of newer electronic controllers. The bowl is deep and well designed.A word about wattage: Please don't puchase any mixer because you believe that high wattage will translate to more power. That just isn't so. Wattage is a measure of power consumed by the mixer, not put out as torque (ability to slog through heavy doughs). A poorly designed motor will use lots of watts, but will not deliver it to you in increased power. This mixer happens to have 1000 watts of power - sounds like a lot. The point is that whatever its power draw, its power output is sufficient for the tasks at hand. Way back when, I had a KitchenAid 5 qt. that used 325 watts (before wattage became sexy). It, too, had adequate power; today, with the marketing of wattage as a meaningful number, people would sneer at such an "underpowered" unit. Silly, really. This mixer is well designed. It has a mixing timer, a pulse button, both of which are useful. Its lineage (for those of you who are interested) is as follows: A UK brand, Kenwood, marketed a quality 7 qt mixer that was popular in EU for many years, but was never very popular in the US market. It was sold to Rival, and for a short time, was available under that brand. It was then sold to DeLonghi, who modified it a bit; then it was sold to Cuisinart, who made the most significant modifications to it (deeper, better designed bowl, better controller with timer and speed ramp up feature). The mixer was always inherently a good one, even way back when it was a Kenwood. The design of this mixer, with its large capacity, still allows the beater head to pivot up, allowing the beater to clear out of and away from the bowl, whereas the beater heads of the KitchenAid 5 and 6 qt models are fixed and require that the bowl be cranked down, but leave the beater pretty much in the way. I prefer this design as it offers more access to the bowl (no matter what they tell you, you must still scrape down the bowl periodically - the question is, which design allows you to do that more easily?)Its tools (whip, dough hook and flat beater) are extremely well designed and are, I think, a bit better than KitchenAid's. I'm not an "accessoryperson", and so I cannot speak to the quality of the pasta press, meat grinder, blender, etc. I will say that K'Aid most likely still offers a greater variety of accessories, and so for those who are interested in milling grain, straining tomatoes, opening cans, etc. by using mixer attachments, I think this is probably not the unit for you.An extra bowl for the unit (which I find very useful) costs $55 directly from Cuisinart, although I see it here on Amazon for $99, an unbelivable markup.I highly recommend this mixer, have made everything from heavy cookie doughs to merengues, and find it to be well designed and a pleasure to use.

5So far it works great
By kalyson
I researched the Kitchenaid, Viking and several other brands of mixers. There were a lot of good and bad reviews of Kitchenaid, but what I was able to discover was that Kitchenaid used to be owned by Hobart Corp. At that time they were excellent mixers, but then they were purchased by Whirlpool. The mixers now have plastic gears. Although the higher-end models have metal gears (Pro series), they are still in a plastic housing. This decline in quality disturbs me. It is likely that most home cooks do not use it for heavy-duty usage, but those cooks who do have apparently found the products from Kitchenaid do not last (see negative reviews -- especially from the engineer who took several of them apart). The Viking seemed better made but was quite expensive. I settled on the Cuisinart after learning that its gears and gear housing are metal. Hopefully it will last a long time. I noticed that the Kitchanaid had only a one year warranty, but the Cuisinart has a FIVE year motor warranty, and a three year product warranty overall. It seemed a safer bet, so I got the Cuisinart. It performs very well. The timer is built right into the side of the mixer and is very handy. The mixer leaves very little batter unmixed even if you don't bother to scrape the bowl yourself. The range of speeds is very large -- from extremely slow (1) to incredibly fast (12). It is pretty quiet in its operation. I will have to continue using it to see how long it lasts, but so far it does a great job.

5Great Diver's Watch
By jb
I love this watch! I looked around for a good dive watch that wouldn't break the bank, and was introduced to the M1 at my local dive center. I opted for the rubber strap, which is long enough to fit on your forearm even over 7mm wetsuits. The face of the watch is simple, elegant, uncluttered and easy to read under water. The dials provide the right amount of contrast and are highly luminous even in low-visibility conditions. With the stainless steel strap, this watch looks like it just as easily belongs in a boardroom as it does on a boat. After having owned this watch for almost two years, I can see just a slight indication of wear on the bezel surface, which isn't bad considering how much my watch has bumped against scuba cylinders, lead weights, boat railings and the occasional concrete wall.

5Great and reasonably priced!
By R. Langston
Though I haven't had the opportunity to test this in deep water, it performs well for paddling. I like dive watches for their rugged durability and this Momentum is no slouch in either area. The brand was new to me, but after doing a little research, these Canadian-marketed watches got good reviews. The watch body is a nice matte finish, and it is not huge, bulky and clunky. My wrists are rather small so this is important. The watch does not look disproportionately large on my arm. I like the traditional two tension-pin band and pretty much always have to replace bands to fit. Inside, the face is a nice medium blue (sort of a Duke Blue if you know what that is). Out in the Sun Light, it gets much brighter to almost electric blue.Overall a very good, rugged, no-frills watch.

5Great tactical flashlight
By Mickster
The Pelican M6 3W 2390 flashlight is a great piece of equipment. I got one from another retailer and was so happy with it that I decided to buy two more. I shopped around and, at the time, Amazon had the best price. However, the flashlights I received are the wrong color. I ordered black flashlights and received green ones (olive drab). The shipping took several days longer than I expected too. Also, be advised that Amazon continually adjusts their prices up and down. I paid $69.58 a piece for mine (1/3/2011), and the current price is $106.29. It's a good idea to shop around before you buy.

4Another Great Pelican Product, Just don't drop it.
By Patrick
Been a fan of Pelican products for over twenty years. From lights to cases.I started using the 2400 Series Stealth Lite years ago because of its rugged design, approvals, (we are a military contractor), and of course the legendary Pelican Warranty. Although the 2400 is a great flash light, it sometimes is a little to Bulky to carry around. (Works great as a Hard Hat Lite, though)I started researching lights several months ago and decided on the 2390.Pros: The first thing out of the box is you notice the rugged construction. It's weight. It's compact size. This truly feels like a military grade compact flashlight. The touchy feely ends when you throw in the batteries and turn it on. Wow!!! This is one bright, long throwing flashlight. Like an idiot I actually turned the light and looked at the illumination. Instant blindness for a few seconds. I could see this being a major assist for a Cop or Military person wanted to stop a bad guy in his tracks. In fact my neighbor and good friend who is a cop and officer in the military came over and checked out the light at night. As he said, "Hands down the best flashlight he had every used." I had a hard time prying it from his hands when he went home. The ballistic belt holster with extra battery compartment is a big plus. Easy access to the light and you always have a spare set of batteries on hand when you need them. May not seem like much but when your crawling around in complete darkness and your light starts to go dead those spare batteries can be complete life saver. Finally the truly great feature of this light is how bright it is. I have been forced in the last few days to use my StealthLight 2400, (see cons below) and to compare the difference, well its like illuminating a room with the sun vs. using a candle.Cons:The Lithium batteries that come with the light,.... A joke. They lost the Lumens Ummph... at around twenty minutes of operation. (That's not continuous. That's my estimate of actually usage time)I did a lot of battery research when the lumen value dropped. Turns out that others have done the research for us on batteries. Surfire seems to be the hands down winner on Lithium CR123 battery design and manufacturing. Cheapest place to buy them... Direct from Surefire.Bought a box of twelve for $21.00 from Surefire. On the net the same box runs from $28.00 to $34.00. The Surfire batteries work great in these flashlights. What ever you do, order extra batteries on the net. Lithium CR123 batteries at the store will run you around $5.00 to $6.00 apiece, Ouch!!! Trust me you don't want to be in a jam and need batteries at the last minute. This light has no approvals, for example; CSA- Class I, Div. 2; Gp ABCD, T3C; Class ll; Div. 2; Gp G,; FM- Class I, Div. 2; Gp. ABCD, T3A.; MSHA 10C-633-0; ETL - Class I, Div. 1, GP.D, CL.I, Zone 1, GP. CLASS T3 CONFORMS TO STD.This probably stems from the Lithium batteries and the heat generated from the bulb more then anything. It can be a problem for certain industries when these approvals are required for use. For example Fire Fighting. Combustable confined areas, etc....The Big Con.I dropped my flashlight from around three to four feet in height directly onto a concrete floor at a job sight the other day. The light hit at a perfect angle on the corner of the lens hood. The hood split from its machine threads that screw into the battery compartment base. Looking at it the threaded portion of the hood is very thinly machined aluminum. Big bummer because I have gotten used to the flashlight, and now I am forced to use a 2400 Stealth light while I warranty the unit. Like I said earlier its like using a candle vs. the sun. Thank god for Pelicans Warranty!!!Conclusion:After getting this light and using it for at least four months, on an almost daily basis I would not trade it for anything. In fact as I have done with Leatherman products in the past all buy an extra one or two as backups when something breaks. All get some of the tactical Accessories for example the gun mount. I see this light as a great tool while hunting at night.I will also be buying these for my service guys. Frankly if the thing did not come with a belt holster I could bet one of my guys would have conveniently borrowed it by now. ;)

5Great Light
By sdl
I have owned a Pelican M6 LED light for the last five an a half years. I've used it a lot. It's also taken a lot of abuse. I've dropped, hit, scratched and dinged it so many times I've lost count (it's also been submerged in water and one time assisted in breaking a window). The light keeps shining. The only recourse from the abuse I've dished out is the switch would break. But luckily, even with a broken switch, the light would still work (It just wouldn't stay switched on. I'd have to hold the button down).Best part was, the LIFETIME WARRANTY. I shoot a quick e-mail to Pelican, and they practically overnight me the part I need to get my light working correctly again. This time, I bought two. (Keep in mind the first still works, I plan on attaching these new lights to my guns). They came. Brighter and better constructed than the first. The first saved mt butt on more than one occasion. So far, with the performance of these, they will probably be more than capable of doing it again. Also, for reference, the batteries that came with it weren't some cheap off brand. They were Duracell. It also came with a black nylon case, not something I needed, but something that anyone else who didn't have one might find useful. It attaches at the belt and snaps closed.Only critique, amazon listed the only color available as "OD Green", I wanted black. But since they were going on my guns I didn't care. The Package came, both lights were black. I can't complain though. I got exactly what I wanted.

5Premium Price, Premium Quality
By Timothy J. Mccarthy
I got this for our master bath, and a different brand chrome mirror for the guest bath. The other mirror cost about half, and when I compared them, it's easy to see why. This is a nice hefty unit - the arms and base appear to be solid cast brass. On the other unit is a swing-out type, with thin, hollow tubes and a stamped base that look like steel that's been chromed. The extension mechanism here works effortlessly and silently, with rubber grommets where the scissors arms connect to the vertical tube. This looks and feels like a high-quality unit, and I expect a very long service life. Before you buy a cheaper unit, consider paying the extra to get a far better product.

Great quality product. 100% satisfaction. Love it!! If you have a small (or awkward) bathroom, this mirror is just what you need. Use it when you need it, then it folds flat up against the wall, out of the way. It is exactly what we needed. I couldn't find it in any local store, thanks Amazon.

I have been looking forever to find a wall mounted make-up mirror in a gold finish to match my bathroom fixtures.I am thrilled with the quality of versitility of this mirror and at a reasonble price. It fits smuggly against the wall but adjusts easily for magnifying or regular viewing. You probably need longer screws than provided to secure to the wall.I would definetely recommend this product.

4Exactly what I was looking for
By Ha Quach
For the price, about $120, it was what I was looking for. The chronograph bezel moves, so the functionality is not just for looks. Stainless steel body with a rubber band. Body size is right for a female. Band is a little big for me (my ring finger ring size is 4-1/2, but I am atypical), but it should do well for most other females. Lit dots in dark light are okay but not like a backlight at all, so you might find it not bright enough for your needs. Warning: I played volleyball and one of the pins for the strap flew off, but that was probably my fault since I had swapped out the original band for a leather one; however, I reused the same pins, so I don't know why it didn't hold too well. Well, it is more like a casual diver's watch than something you would wear for volleyball. Overall, if you like the analog look and feel, water resistance, slightly sporty design, functional chronograph--the features of this watch could be the ones you are looking for.

4Pricey, but powerful beam
By Ramblin Man
I bought this with a gift certificate. It has a very powerful beam for a small flashlight. I use it to walk through a path in a wooded area at night in the winter. The path winds through the woods, and there is no lighting. With this light, I was able to see forward a good 25 feet. It's the best flashlight I have ever owned. The beam is very powerful, especially for an LED.

5No sticking
By PRS
It's been 1 or 2 months since I have this rice cooker, and the best thing is: it doesn't stick like the one I had before (Aroma). I cooked white rice, and a whole meal of rice with veggies and chicken, and had no problems. I also used the steamer while I was cooking rice, and it was good.

5Does the job
By A. Smith
I had searched for a new rice cooker locally and found that the good ones were all over $100, which was somewhat more than I wanted to pay. The Panasonic does a good job at a reasonable price. I'm glad I found it!

4instructions lacking
By Gitchie
The instructions were useless if you never had a rice maker before. I knew nothing about them. There was not help for using brown rice. I went on recipe zaar and figured it out eventually after having to make rice pudding out of my first attempt.

5Best Watch I Ever Had
By PHMBOO
I've had this watch for going on 10 years now. It comes with a renewable warranty if you send the watch in to them for batteries, etc.I bought it for its clean, no nonsense appearance, and for the big glowing hands that I can read immediately--no squinting!(Watch makers can be so stupid--it's not the size of the numbers that helps readability, it's the size of the hands, and their contrast against the background.)The super-luminous glow-in-the-dark feature is incredible. The glow lasts for hours--not like the olden days, where the glow lasted about a minute. One thing I got with this watch when I ordered it is the Sapphire crystal. It's an upgrade from the standard crystal. I scratch watch crystals horribly for some reason, but the super hard sapphire is crystal clear to this day. There's one tiny scratch on it that's been there for years; I don't know what I did to it, but that's the only sign of wear.Beware:The *new* basic model M1 Momentums don't have a solid Minute-hand. It's open in the middle, blends with the watch face, and you can't see what time it is. The neat and colorful Twist models are the same way. Go look at their website--such an incredible gaffe on their part. Who on earth would think this is a good idea on a dive watch? It keeps me from buying a new watch. I'll stick with this discontinued (!) model til it becomes tinfoil. The Hyper-Rubber band is awesome. They sell another band that looks similar, got it through a local dive shop. It's a polyester or something (not a woven band though.) It was awful--it stuck to my wrist no matter how loose I adjusted it. The black rubber band was very comfortable.I just love the design of this watch, and the quality.

4Good Eyes
By Glenda S. Slayton
This is a very nice watch. Only flaw for me is the date being so small.
