Nicer than the pictures!

The pictures don't do this statue justice. The cape, flapping in the wind and coming up around the dark knight is gorgeous and doesn't feel like the shiney, thick, symmetrical cape the pictures would indicate...and the pose is unique to the B&W series - this isn't the dark knight standing menacingly or in action, this is him perched, seconds before springing into action. Great statue and addition to the collection.

Great price for a fantastic subwoofer

I bought this from Circuit City to replace another older Polk powered subwoofer which was ruined in a basement flood. That one had only a 10 inch woofer but it did a very good job with the bass frequencies of my surround sound setup. This one sounds bigger, louder, tighter and better defined in the low end and is punchier. I've had it for two months and it has broken in nicely and may still be breaking in. When I first purchased the PSW125 it sounded quite nice and then the bass kind of diminished a bit for a month or so and then started coming back as the speaker cone settled in. The bass is now extremely powerful and it functions superbly with my Polk sattelite, center channel and rear surround speakers to give a fat full 3D gorgeous sound. Totally blows away movie theater house sound systems for power and clarity. Get one, give it a couple months or so to fully break in and you will be rewarded. Polk powered subwoofers are excellent and reliable, just keep them away from flood water!

Excellent

This is my first subwoofer for the home and I am thoroughly impressed with the bass response and accuracy. For the first three days I had it placed in the corner facing the same directions as my Polk R50 Towers (which match well). The corner loading produced muddy boom which wasn't really aggravating just not my kind of thing.I enjoy tight bass more than boom, so I moved it between my right speaker and TV, amazing still! The down firing port means no evident port noise. I have experienced none and that is from about a month of loud drum and bass, hip hop and walking bass lines found in Jazz music. You are going to love the low rumble and punch found in movie explosions and heavy vehicles running in the background!I am running it speaker level input utilizing the crossover at about 75hz. I have great control of the output with the level knob set at less than half and phase set to 180 degrees. I would buy a second if I didn't live in a duplex!The finish is Cherry veneer but I think that is to be expected for a sub at this price point?Oh yeah and of course I received it within 2 days with Amazon Prime two day shipping. Normally there is a shipping charge!

Tame the Wind with Love the Drive Wind Deflector

This product has really turned our 2012 Mustang GT into a true Grand Touring machine with the top down. Wind buffeting inside is reduced to near zero up to about 70 mph and pesky crosswinds are easily defeated by raising the windows. And the product looks good on the vehicle after installation.The back seat is unusable for passengers with the wind screen installed but the back seat becomes a great storage area that is mostly concealed from outside the vehicle and is accessible from the front seats. The screen is secured by "quick disconnect" devices and can be easily removed in a couple of minutes for storage in the trunk. Initial installation is easy and takes only 5 or ten minutes by a single person (the installation instructions suggest using a second person which is really not neccessary). Rear visibility is still good through the mesh of the screen and the screen easily folds down for top up use.Shipment of the product from "Love the Ride" was prompt and arrived earlier than promised. The product is well made and attractive however it was packaged with screws that were too large for final assembly. This was not a major problem for me as my workshop contains lots of hardware and fasteners and I was able to put it together in about ten minutes after locating some appropriate screws. The folks at Love the Ride were really responsive about the screws and sent out replacements promptly. A response to my email came within ten minutes.My wife and I both consider the purchase price of this product to be well worth while. It has made a huge difference in the comfort of our convertible at higher speeds and we can actually really enjoy it with the top down on freeways. Let's face it - we don't buy convertibles to drive around with the top up.Five stars to "Love the Ride".

Fine Product!

Just received the Love the Drive wind deflector for my 2012 Mustang GT, and wanted to let everyone know, this is a great product. I went with the standard shipping, ordered on a Tuesday (I think) and got it the following Monday, so pretty fast. The product is EXACTLY as described on Amazon, and is complete with written installation instructions and photos (of the car you are installing it on!). A third grader could install this product, no problem; it literally took me less than 10 minutes to get it out of the box and have it installed. And, even though the instructions recommend getting a friend to help, you don't really need to. The product appears to be of very high quality construction (lightweight aluminum, very rigid), and is painted a glossy black so it looks sharp. Performance-wise, it really delivers. At 70MPH with the screen up and the windows down, the wind is probably reduced around 85%, and with the windows up, I'd say it is around 95%! These things really do work great! All in all, a great experience so far. I'd recommend this company and their products to anyone, and will certainly buy from them again should the need arise!

Very nice but worth the price?

It does cut down on the wind buffeting by a significant amount. It's also well made. But for the life of me I can't figure out why it costs this much. Materials alone would have to cost well under $50.I give it 5 stars on function, design and effectiveness. But it gets only 1 star for its inflated cost. Thus the overall 3 star rating.I highly recommend it but only if you're willing to pay more than it's worth.

Great Collectible

I purchased this action figure and was very pleased with it. The toy is very solid, it stands well on its own. Each action figure comes with extras. The Ops Sheppard comes with, P-90, 9mm, a lifesigns detector and a wraith grenade. There is also a piece of the Stargate Atlantis Gate. Diamond Select has developed a method of nearly perfecting the likenesses on their action figures. This one really looks like Joe Flanigan, right down to the bed hair. Its a great toy to take out of the package and play with, or it can be nicely displayed in the packaging. The packaging itself is very attractive. All in all the action figures were worth the wait from Diamond Select.The only thing I could find that fell a little short of what I like in an action figure was the fact that the arms are pretty much set in place. There is a lot of movement but you cannot position the arms straight down to the sides. Not enough to knock any stars off for though.

A great entry-level speed skate!

I researched and tried on quite a few low-top speed skates in the $100 range -- I didn't intend to become a figure skater or a derby queen, I just wanted a good quality skate so I could get exercise and rediscover a little bit of youth at the rink. I finally settled on the Riedell R3s. I'd heard that they were the quality of a $150 or $175 skate for a lower price.After skating on these for several months at my local rink, I have to agree. Of course, these aren't the fastest skates in the world; you can spend closer to a thousand dollars and get some really speedy skates. But for the price, these are an excellent beginner's speed skate.They'll need adjusting out of the box (as all skates do), to make sure the wheels are all spinning evenly, and none are tightened down too hard. If you're skating at a rink, there's probably someone in the pro shop who can help you get them even. They have adjustable double-action trucks, which can be tightened up when you're just starting, and loosened as you get more comfortable.The bearings, ABEC-5s, are a sizeable step up from the ABEC-1 found on most $50 skates. The wheels themselves are wide and a bit grippy, which can help with balance for a beginning skater. The skates also have adjustable toe stops that can be replaced with plugs, another step up from the fixed toe stops on lesser skates. The white version of this skate comes with two pair of laces, pink and white. They also come with a skate wrench, although I prefer to carry around a socket wrench in my bag (it's easier to get into tight places).On the pro side, they have a wider toe box than other skates in the price range. On the con side, the insole is very thin; if you need arch support or more cushion, you'll have to add in extra insoles. Also, the tongues are a bit stiff when new; they'll take a few hours of skating to soften up. I had such a good experience with these skates, two of my skating chums bought them too.

I just bought these for my wife and she loves them, so far. I have to agree with the 1/2 to 1 full size smaller recommendation.I didn't get them from Amazon, though. I bought them from my local skate shop for $113 after tax. They also came with a cheep but effective tool to adjust trucks and wheels AND pink laces. I assume that those will also be inside this box, but they are not advertised here... Perhaps another reviewer will say if they are or not?!?They were bought for the sole purpose of rink skating and came highly recommended by the rink shop as their most common skate sold.If she were going to really challenge them, I might consider spending more on an even better skate, but I am very confidant she will get at least a few good years out of these and feel proud wearing them.UPDATE: After 1.5 years, these skates are still in terrific shape with the only complaint that my fiance gets a blister at the top of her ankle (from the skate tongue), every time we go out for more than 90 minutes. She skates occasionally. Personally, I feel they still need breaking in. She does keep the ankle strap rather tight. Still, this was an excellent purchase because I can't justify spending $300+ for someone who skates only 12 times per year. Still, she needed something decent. If I were to do it again, I might have bought her the high boot skates (Mustangs or Angels), but for folks that like ankle mobility in a skate, these are a terrific entry level skate that FAR exceed all my beginner skates.

Does the job

Foremost, this device is working for me as advertised. I can remotely see my VGA output from 100 miles away, and I can type on the keyboard similiarly - even if the server rebooted. Speed is quite respectable for me - but I'm only using it to access plain text, no fancy graphics.Annoyances: Requires java (but alternatives are worse, so.. ok). And requires DHCP or Windows to set an initial IP address - no specific automatic default.Would I buy another? Yes.

Awesome KVM over IP

This bad boy rocks. You can setup with a PS2 or USB system. One con is that you'll need a mini USB cable to provide extra power if you're using USB only and not ps2.Works with MAC's, PC's, everything. You've got BIOS level control. it's a slick web interface, but it does use a proprietary java console, so you can't use vnc instead of the built in web server. that bit is a pain if you're trying to control it from a mobile device, but not a deal breaker by any means. I highly recommend these to everyone who needs a single KVM solution or a mobile KVM solution.

Hardware Missing

The bench looks great and was easy to assemble. Assembly instructions were non-existent, but not needed. The only bad thing was: When I opened the box the hardare was just thrown in the box. It appears that the packaging for the hardware was opened. Unfortunately, hardware (washers) were missing. I was lucky enough to have spare washers that worked. Without my own washerrs I would not have been able to assemble the bench.

Great product but why does it ship with a USB cable and not midi cables?

Of course we all know what this unit does! Like its mother the MCU Pro its solidly built and now equipped with really cool Alpine motorized faders! Worked straight out of the box! I use it with Sonar and Reaper and its simply perfect! However!This unit requires two short midi cables to connect with the main MCU Pro so why, why, why do Mackie ship this with a USB cable??? I mean it doesn't even have a USB port! Maybe someone at the LOUD factory was a little hung over when they packed my unit! Anyhow, that aside! I recommend this product to anyone!

I Love this bag

This is a very compact bag. It is not large but it can fit everything you may need into it. I have a wallet, two check books, cell phone, pocket calendar book, two set of keys, my classic ipod w/case, lipstick, sm. mirror, compact, and a pen it's snug but there's room left for more. This is a very nice bag the art work is beautiful I love how the zipper goes around three sides with two pulls. All in all I couldn't be any happier I LOVE this bag.

Too Too small

I have wanted an Anuschka purse for a while now so for the price I thought this would be a great way to get introduced to the brand. Well I don't know what all the hype is about. The inside of the purse is unfinished--just plain leather. So please don't spill anything in it because the purse will be ruined and depending on what's spilled it can saturate thru the purse. I don't know why they call this a "multi-compartment" style because they are too small and you can only put one thing in them. The shoulder strap is very thin and this purse can not hold any weight in it. As far as the technique they use to paint on the leather that is nice but that's it. This style and size is best for a teen.

I have been purchasing and sending back bags in which to carry my iPad mini as well as my every day "stuff" for several months now. Nothing fit quite right. I had my eye on the Anuschka 349 (peacock lily) the whole time, but was hesitant because I am a solid color gal - in my clothing and in my bags. Well, I finally decided to try this one - I could always send it back, right?It arrived today, and I LOVE IT. My iPad mini fits perfectly in one side (although I do need to get a slimmer case for it, which I was planning to do anyway) and my Fossil Emory clutch billfold fits perfectly in the other side. There is still room for my phone, tissues, keys, small Altoid tin, checkbook, pen, bluetooth earpiece and lipstick, and it doesn't feel overly stuffed. If I were carrying a smaller billfold, it would hold even more.The leather smells wonderful and the craftsmanship is exquisite. I was afraid it would be too "bright" for me, but the colors are rich and understated. Many people complain about the thin strap, but I actually like this kind of strap, and the purse falls to the exact spot I like on my hip when worn on my shoulder (I'm 5'6). I don't like cross-body styling, but if I were travelling, it would also work well that way.I have no idea how it will hold up, so I may have to amend my review later - but for now, it gets 5 stars. It's an expensive bag, so I expect it to last a long time, and I will enjoy using it when I go casual.P.S. I still can't comprehend how it took this bag 7 days to get from New Jersey to central New York, but that's a shipping matter....

I've owned a Mackie HUI and a Tascam FW-1884 and had frustration with both. The HUI was earlier technology and the two-way transmission of data never worked properly. The Tascam had a faulty firewire connection so it would fail to connect to my computer about 90% of the time. My recent experience with the Tascam led me to accept that it was better to go for a device that was a controller only, and have a separate audio card. The Mackie was the answer.This controller has worked perfectly for me every time. Reliability was my main concern and this finally did the job. I love the look of it, and the digital scribble strip is a really nice way to see the track names and settings without having to have an onscreen utility (like the Tascam had). It comes with overlays for different software, so I put on the Cubase one and that's a big help.I've been surprised how useful it is for controlling plugin settings as well. I use the UAD powered plugins, and it's easy for me to take control of their parameters using the MCU so I can adjust knobs without using my mouse.Pros:- Reliable and easy to set up. Window and Cubase never have trouble detecting it or staying in sync with it.- USB connection. This really sold me on the latest model, since you no longer need to connect it via MIDI. Just plug in the USB cable and Windows auto-detects it as a standard MIDI controller and uses standard drivers.- V-Pots have a nice center detent indicator light so you always know when your tracks are panned to the center.- Nice-looking and not bulky (I was surprised how much smaller it was than the Tascam, though of course that device was also an audio interface).Cons:- High price, considering the lack of an audio interface.- The fader motors often make noise even when sitting idle.- I like the ability to switch from Bars/Beats display to Minutes/Seconds. But this setting is not persisted so I have to switch each time.[Follow-up posted 9/20/2011]I upgraded to Cubase 6 and Windows 7 64bit a few months back, and ever since the MCU would not sync when Cubase is first opened. None of the controls would work until I went into the Devices control panel and reset the MCU about 5 times. I read that others had this problem and worked around it by switching to the MIDI ports instead of using the built-in USB MIDI interface. I tried this and it fixed the problem for me, though now I have to use a separate interface and cables (which negates my point #2 of why I loved the USB connection on this newer model). It would be great if Mackie would release a firmware update or something if this problem is on their end.

PRODUCT TO DATE HAS PERFORMED WELL. THE STAPLER IS FOR SMALL JOBS WITH SOFT WOODS AND PERFORMS WELL.THE DRILL IS HEAVY DUTY AND BATTERY CHARGE HOLDS UP WELL WITH PROLONGED USAGE. FOR THE PRICE A GREAT PRODUCT COMBO..REFURBISHED..

Ryobi factory Reconditioned Hammer Drill

I purchased this for the hammer drill. To my surprise it also came with a charger, 2 batteries and a stapler. for the money this was an excellent value. My reservations about purchasing reconditioned were erroneous. All the pieces were there. The items had only minimal cosmetic wear and tear and functioned as new. I'll be willing to consider reconditioned on my next power tool purchase.
