So big, so cool!

This is the second Cooleroo we've owned. The first one we bought while living in Australia and we loved it so much we brought it over her to America. Unfortunately the crank cable broke on that one so we needed a new one. We decided to "go big" with this one (we are in America afterall). I'm glad we did. The material is ideal for summer days. It lets enough light and air through that you don't feel like you're huddling in a tent. It also doesn't want to blow away because wind gusts pass through it. Great sturdy umbrella.

Nice and Large, with crank & tilt

Just as advertised. Gives a filtered light under it. I bought a regular market umbrella initially, but with the breezes on my deck (no way could you call it windy, or I would have wound the umbrella down), a 44 pound base and a wrought iron table surrounding it could not hold it- it went flying. Because this fabric allows some breeze to pass through it, it is less apt to get airborne. The mechanism works very smoothly, and the pole is a standard size that fits my wrought iron base. It is a light beige color, which goes with my chair cushions. It is large enough to shade a table for 6, even in late afternoon when the sun is at an angle.With the prime free shipping, I think it is a good buy. Sometimes the price seems inflated when prime shipping is offered, but not in this case.

Now Were Talking...This Is an Umbrella

I had just one word when I opened the box...WOW. Large, high quality, the poles actually fit my tables despite being 11 foot umbrellas. Beautiful. Now...some complain that it is a "vented" or should I say more of a woven fabric. Therefore, it is a sun screen only. They do NOT function as protection from the rain. Water flows right through the fabric. To some this may be a bad thing. For me, a Sun Screen that makes the patio cooler...without making it dark is nice. Also, my plants love it. Traditional umbrellas this size produced so much shade that my sun loving flowers...that are still delicate and need shade just not darkness...would either die from sun, or not blossom from too much shade. These things work great. The plants get all the sun they need, yet they do not die from direct sunlight burning their delicate pedals and leaves. For the humans, it is nice to have light...but be cool by having indirect sunlight instead. I love them. I recommend them. I get lots of compliments about them. They are beautiful...and of good quality. Just one example. Cheaper China umbrellas...open them up and you will see fragments of "stitching" hanging loose in areas around the fabric seams. Not so here. The seamstress made sure these things were produced with quality stitching. My only complaint is the tilt. One angle only. If that is too much...too bad. Yuck. Otherwise...fantastic.

For serious kitchens

This board is great looking. We used it to carve a 25 lb turkey this Thanksgiving and it did admirably. One word of warning. This board is extremely heavy. Don't plan on moving it with a turkey on it. I'm in my early 60's and just moving the board with nothing on it is all I can do. It cleans up easy. Be sure to coat it with food grade mineral oil or the Boos oil prior to use and frequently thereafter and I think this board can become a family heirloom. If you have the counter space, it looks nice just left out all the time. That's what I'm doing with it. Thank God for supersaver free shipping because this baby weighes a ton.

If `Flexible Flyer' generates fond memories, you need a Mountain Boy Kicksled. Hand-built in Silverton, Colorado, Mountain Boys are designed to ride on flats or slopes, on packed snowmobile trails, snowy roads or even ice. The kicker controls the sled, steering from behind while standing with one foot on a metal runner as the other foot kicks the sled into action. The lucky side-kick sits in a semi-reclined wooden deckchair, takes in the sights and enjoys the ride. For the kicker, it's a great workout. For the rider, it's less bumpy than other sleds. For the soloist, there's the single model. Mountain Boy Sleds are an artful way to transport gear, groceries or kids. (Note: I first published this review in Ski Press Magazine).

Great sled, but poor packaging leads to lost parts

The sled itself is made with good workmanship and beauty. However, it was packed with bolts, washers and wing nuts loose in the cardboard shipping box. Naturally, these boxes get holes in them while in transit (mine had a large hole in the side), and small parts will fall out of the holes and out of the ends of the box as well unless all corners are taped. An easy fix would just be to include the hardware in a plastic bag stapled to the inside of the box.Buyers should also be aware that without the snow floats, the sled is only usable on ice. The rails are about the same width as ice skate blades, so just imagine yourself trying to skate on snow with a dog pulling you. If you intend to use the sled on anything other than ice, buy the snow floats.

Great package if you have a dog and a Mt. Boy kick sled

I have the Mountain Boy Sledworks Silverton Kicksled and a dog who pulls on his leash when I walk him. And a city which believes that if the weather gods put snow on the street they can clean it up on their own, so it quickly becomes packed snow and ice. This package looked like just the trick to make being stuck at home fun.The harness is made by an actual dog harness company, Nordkyn, sold specifically for small sleds. It's an "X" back harness with four adjustment straps for the dog and two for the sled. There were no instructions for harnessing the dog, so the first time was a trick, but my dog was patient and let me try it several ways. For me it, undoing one of the front leg straps completely, having the dog step into the front of the harness, sliding the neck opening over his head then refastening the strap is the easiest. It sounds harder than it is. And your mileage may vary, but bacon treats help.On the back straps, it seems to work best if you get the strap that goes to the sled to cross just above the dog's tail but up on his back. If you leave this strap too long, when the dog veers to the right or left, the dogs back legs can get tangled up in it. Anyway be sure that it's not too tight so he can breath, and not too loose or chafing.On using the harness, my dog is well, limited in the brain capacity. He doesn't quite get that he has to stay in front of the sled at all times. So instead of clipping the harness to the sled I hold it like a leash. You may ask well, why aren't I using the leash instead of this expensive bit of nylon strapping? Well a leash has the dog pulling with a strap around his neck, and it's tough to breath with that under load. The harness has a pad which goes on the breast bone and under the neck so he can pull as hard as he wants and no pain is caused or cutting off of his airway.I haven't had as much use for the snow floats as I originally thought, but that's more a function of the snow that I've had vs what I expected to have. The sled runners are very narrow so anything other than firmly packed snow it will sink in. Not quite as narrow as ice skate blades but close. So with regular loose snow you will need something for the runners to keep the sled up on top.The brake pad, well it works, but I still drag my feet as well for a fast stop.But all in all, if you want the snow floats, and the harness the package deal is the way to go for cost savings.If you have a Malamute husky, this harness may be too small, same if you have an American Eskimo it would be too big. In which case buying the harness direct from Nordkyn will give you a better fit. Most Black and Yellow Labs, and Golden Retrievers, Siberian Husky et.al. this one should fit fine. (Large fat Chocolate Labs are probably too wide in the chest for this harness.)Pro:A lot of fun for me and dog on the street. Well made.Con:No harness instructions.

My dog loves to pull!

If you live in or near a snowy place and have a dog that loves to pull, you will have a blast on a kicksled with a mushing package. (If your dog doesn't already love to pull, it's going to be very hard to teach them how) Here's how it works: a kicksled is like a lightweight dogsled -- so light that you can push it along yourself. And lots of people just hold their dog by the leash and let them pull while they kicksled along. It works, but it's not very good for your dog. The mushing package has a harness and lines that you can clip to the front of the sled. It also has snow floats (plastic skis that fit on the bottom of kicksled runners) and, most importantly, a sled brake. It's a simple thing, just a piece of conveyor belt with metal cables and clips so you can attach it to the sled. It rides along on the snow in front of your feet, and when you want to stop or slow down you just step on it. It's important because it lets you keep from running into your dog!I would recommend the Mountain Boy kicksleds (Mountain Boy Sledworks Silverton Kicksled and Mountain Boy Sledworks Double Kicksled).

WANT GREAT QUALITY FOR YOUR MONEY? BUY THIS!

I purchased this Hyper/roman chair made by Powertec because I own Powertec's leverage workbench and it is an OUTSTANDING, SOLID piece of equipment so, I thought that I couldn't go wrong with their Roman Chair- I was correct to think so. The P-HR 45 by Powertec feels extremely SOLID while in use. The previous review complained about the pads being set to far apart- I did not find that to be so. I actually think that Powertec did this so that men could do Hyperextensions on this equipment in comfort and not have to worry about the family jewels being ruined. (Thanks Powertec!) Most Hyper/Roman chairs that I have seen are a bit huge. This chair surprisingly takes up very little space. It is very important that you FOLLOW DIRECTIONS when putting this together. It states that you should NOT tighten the bolts when putting this together until all the bolts are in place. I put all bolts into place and then tightened them starting from the bottom of the chair and worked my way up. TRUST me when I tell you that you should take heed to this as it really does make a difference as to how solid this machine will feel to you when you are using it. To me, there is nothing more important than to have your abs and lower back in there absolute best shape. Do yourself a favor and add this EXCELLENT piece of equipment to your home gym.

55 to 90 degree angle

It says that is adjust from 45 to 90 degrees, but it is more like a 55 degree angle I would say. But I knew that when I purchased it, you can clearly tell from the picture that's no 45 degree angle. Since I bought mine I notice there is one by bodycraft now that clearly does adjust all the way from 45 to 90, so if the more straight up angle is important to you you might want that one instead. The two pads were too far apart so I had to reverse them so they are closer together (how wide do they think peoples hips are?), but with them closer together you can't adjust it all the way to the 90 degree angle. And the one pad sticks out about 1/2 and inch further then the other on mine (even before I switched them). Why'd I still give it 4 stars?...well I don't want to automatically discourage people (I usually don't even look at anything with below a 4 star rating), maybe my problems were exclusive to me, and I haven't tried any of the others to know how they compare. Anyhow I'm keeping mine problems and all (not much on returning stuff), seems solid and well constsructed and will do the job. No more important muscle to work than the all important lower back.

I would say it "rocks," but it's too solid!

As others have commented, this is a SOLID piece of equipment. I wanted something that would hold a big, tall guy, so I'd feel extra secure. You don't want to be on a shaky chair when you are hanging in the air. Yes, you need to heed the directions when they say put the nuts and bolts in place, get the whole thing together and THEN tighten firmly from the ground up.I have a tip for you all, too. Since here are no words to the pictorial instructions (which are fine), they show you the first picture of the main parts, with the silver adjustment bar looking like you put that on AFTER you get the three main sections together. WRONG.Before you start even loosely bolting those pieces together, you need to slip the silver adjustment bar OVER the main black center piece. I made the mistake of putting them all together, then standing there wondering how in the world the silver piece could fit! lol So, there you go.This baby weighs almost 100 pounds, so it's built to last. I tried it out and it's perfect. I love how versatile it is. I plan on putting some extra padding in the open "guy" area in between the pads so I can do oblique strengthening as well.Great value. Straight forward (mostly!) assembly, so I give it high marks.

Best classic Runner sled made period!!

This is the best classic runner sled I have ever used. I tried 4 different brands before selecting this one. The fit and finish are exceptional and the bottom steel runners are extra thick and just seems much more stout than the other brands - although I have never seen one break I would think this one can take much more abuse. As far as speed this along with all runners are super fast given the right snow conditions. The steering mechanism on the front is a "pivoting head" and it seemed to grip better and turn easier in hard pack. Overall this is the best runner sled I have used. I would also look at the mountainboy Ultimate which is of similar excellent craftsmanship but has a unique plastic bottom runners - hard to describe but take a look at the pictures. That sled worked really well in a wider range of conditions - especially the deeper powder. I can not attest to how the plastic would hold up long term although it seemed sturdy; so for me the classic runner was the choice.

I own both this and the Mountain Boy Sledworks Ultimate Flyer. Both have nearly identical woodwork. This has the metal runners and the Ultimate Flyer has plastic sleds underneath. They are both beautiful and are both the fastest, most controllable sleds on the hills!This is faster on pure ice, and is more controllable overall than the Ultimate Flyer because the metal runners dig in more.The ultimate flyer is faster in most conditions, except for pure ice.Either sled is a work of art and are well worth their price!

Very Nice Sled - Good Deal at Amazon

Order from Amazon because of a big snow storm coming, which is rare in my area. Two day shipping with prime. Was here before snow hit. Opened the sled up after we actually got the snow on the ground. Was quick to assemble with 3 Stainless Screws to screw on the steering bar. They even give you a wood handle screwdriver, which I think is a nice touch! The sled looks fantastic. It really does look handmade; like something you would make in your own garage if you were so inclined. Tried it out and it is a really nice handling sled, in my opinion. I did not one issue with it. My sled, where the front of the runners are attached to a metal bracket right under the pivoting head, the right side is sitting about 1/2 inch away and the left is closer. So if you are holding the sled where the "foot end" is on the ground and the steering bar is up by your chest and you look down the bottom length of the sled, the right side sits further away than the left, AND that runner is a little crooked where it screws onto the bracket. In addition, this front end of the right runner appears to have some welding slag or something on it. There is a sharp hung of metal on the runner that would REALLY cut you if it were to run over a foot or hand. This metal is powdercoated over as well. I may call MountainBoy and send them a picture and see what they think. If this were another brand of sled, I might just ignore it, but I'll give the manufacturer a chance to let me know if it is right or not, and if not, give them the opportunity to fix it. I gave it 4 stars instead of five because of this defect. The finish on the sled is really, really excellent, however. The willow handles are a really nice touch, as expected. It gives the sled real character.Now, I sorta wish that I had gotten the Ultimate Flyer...I was debating back and forth, but decided on the classic because I want it to last and I read some about the plastic cracking on the Ultimate models, and just didn't want to mess with that. This model is better than the flexible flyers that ONE lucky kid would have on my street when it snowed when I was little, so I really wanted to get that classic metal runner type sled that would last. Maybe next year I'll get an Ultimate Flyer if it snows again. For the Amazon price on this metal runner sled, you really can't go wrong, especially considering a regular flexible flyer (non MountainBoy version) is $75 on here and $99 in a hardware store!! The original price of the MountainBoy Classic is actually HIGHER than the price of the Ultimate, and the fact that it is like half price on Amazon just screams "THIS IS A DEAL" - so I say, get this classic flyer if you want the metal runner type sled that you never seemed to be able to talk your parents into buying when you were a kid!

beautiful but not as well constructed as we hoped...

We were so excited to get this for our son's first birthday. We hoped it would not only be a great all-purpose wagon for him, but an heirloom as well. When the box arrived we opened it immediately and started to assemble. Unfortunately, the hardware (bolts and nuts) were loose in the box and half-way through, we noticed there were some nuts missing. After a trip to the hardware store, we had everything we needed, however some of the pre-drilled holes on the wagon were mis-aligned - the construction seemed less than precision, even by hand-made standards. Nonetheless, we finished assembling and went for a test-ride. Our son loved it and it seemed to provide a smooth ride for him. On only the third or fourth ride, however, three of the bolts in the steering mechanism fell out completely.We've decided to keep the wagon and just make a few adjustments (re-install longer bolts in the steering mechanism) and continue to tighten all of the nuts every so often. We love the look and ride of the wagon but we are really disappointed in its overall construction.

Beautiful Wagon

I've wanted this wagon for a couple of years but thought the price was too high. I have several Mountain Boy sled works products and have visited their shop in Colorado and met Bryce Hoskins. This combo sled and wagon is perfect for my needs. The wood work is great and best of all my grandaughter loves it. I would purchase this item again.

Smaller than we thought

This is a beautifully constructed wagon!!! Not sure how it could fit 300lbs. of weight in it...the seating area is small. Not a lot of wagon for $200. We were hoping to pull 2 or 3 or our little kids in it and there is no room. We will explore other less expensive wagons for this purpose.

I have two cats I am allergic to, and this product has helped me keep my allergies at bay. I find this detergent to be particularly helpful to wash my bedding. It's not particularly adept at taking out stains, but I just add this to another detergent if necessary. Very effective at taking out the allergens.

Works very well!

I have a pup that is allergic to everything! No joke, her immune system is incredibly compromised.We turned the house inside out to create the environment needed for her. (instead of returning her to the shelter as some defect item!)This detergent really works! At first I only used it on her items.. but I use it for everything. It cleans well, and you use very little for a full load.I tried all of the "free and clear" detergents, Seventh Generation, etc.. and none of them could get sweat odor out of clothing! Talk about a waste of money!!This stuff works!!!I also suffer from allergies, so I am happy as well!!Everything I wash comes out nice and clean. Just clean laundry..If you need a dryer sheet, I use bounce free. However, they do not have a smell to them.. if they do, it is because the store stocked them right next to a heavily scented fabric sheet..I have to buy mine at the grocery store.For the house, we use Allersearch ADMS spray, every 2-3 weeks on carpets and furniture.There is as huge difference in the house now!!

Best Anti-Allergen Wash on the Market

Good anti-allergen wash to remove allergies from clothes. If clothes are especially dirty then wash with something like woolite to get them extra clean.
