An instant hit!

Our 5 cats loved this cat tree from the first. Since they're indoor cats, climbing the poles to the top is a great substitute for tree-climbing (and the poles make great scratching posts). The top bunk is the bed of choice and is rarely empty. It's quite a large piece of furniture and is pricey, but it makes our kitties, and us, smile!

Entertaining and Practical

I have to agree with reviewers for other Molly and Friends cat furniture Our cats LOVE it. We have two cats and are about to adopt two more kittens. I wanted enough roosting room for all of our cats. This is perfect. My two older cats immediately made themselves at home. They especially love the top tier. The multi level design makes it easier to climb for my older cats as well. Can't wait for the kitten reactions. The company shipped it to us immediately. I have been feeling guilty for paying extra for Amazon Prime until this purchase. With this single purchase, the money I saved on shipping more than made up for the cost of Prime. We got the furniture prior to the anticipated receipt date. Check out the cost of shipping here and elsewhere to deterimine if Prime is for you (and no, I don't work for Amazon). Highly recommend this product.

My cats use it all the time

I bought this to replace a more basic piece of cat furniture that I'd had for several years. The other furniture had served its purpose, but wasn't as sturdy as I'd like, and one of my cats, Rascal, (who is afraid of everything) would rarely use it because it wiggled a bit. With two 'average' size cats, and two cats over 15 pounds, I needed something sturdy.I decided to buy this as a Christmas present for my cats and myself, and I love it!The item came in one huge box (actually, two boxes taped together) which had sufffered some damage in transit, but the furniture itself wasn't damaged.All four cats use it daily, even Rascal, who checked out the bottom positions before attempting the tallest platform, which he now uses often. Quite often, all four are on it at once, sometimes two in one of the basket-shaped perches.This "Jungle Gym" comes with a disclaimer saying that it is not to be climbed on by people, but it seems sturdy enough for that! My cats not only nap in it and use it as a perch to watch birds from (it's set up in front of a picture window), they 'rassle on it and bounce off of it while chasing each other. The base is wide and it would take a lot (like a coordinated, head-on jump attack by all four cats at once, perhaps) to make it tip.It doesn't get a 5-star rating because the little bit of sisal used is on a post that is not easy to reach (the shorter post in the front, between a platform and the tunnel. It would have made more sense to put sisal on the tallest post (I may just buy some sisal rope and wrap it around that post myself). I'm not the only one who thinks so: one of the first things Rascal did to check out the furniture was go to scratch on the tallest post. When he encountered carpeting instead of the nice, scratchy surfaces he was used to and prefers, he had a very annoyed look on his face. I haven't noticed any of the 4 cats trying to scratch on either the sisel-covered post or the tall post since then (even Pete, who will scratch on almost anything!)This cost about 3x as much as my previous furniture, but I think it will last at least 4x as long, and remain safe for the cats.
