With their heavy-gauge plate, these blades have the stamina for saws with lots of power. They Feature: -German steel body featuring 46-48 Rockwell to provide strength and resistance. -Specially formulated carbide tips to match any blade application. -Anti-vibration design which means less chattering during cutting and consequently it lengthens the life of the saw blade. Real nice cuts

Bought this 12" blade for a new project. I was able to cut maple crown moldings and maple base moldings to perfection. It's nice and sharp and lasted through the entire project cutting as new start to finish. Very happy with it.

I was looking for a blade that would minimize tearout on some oak handrail I was cutting. It does a good job in that respect but is a little aggressive with the 5 deg hook angle. I'm using it in a slide compound saw and it does not have quite as smooth a cut as other CMT blades I've used. The 40 deg. beveled teeth are very sharp and bottom tearout is minimal, I've even cut stair tread material upside down, something I would have never tried with my other blades. Another plus is the CMT blades I have bought come in a plastic holder so you should get no damage in shipping.
