Cat Tree is awesome!

My cat took to this new cat tree right away ... she is a large cat (about 16 pounds) and I love the fact that the whole structure is very, very sturdy. She loves the loft on top and the round. Great purchase -- highly recommend it.

This item was a long standing member of my wish list while my husband and I debated whether or not our cat would actually use it. When I could no longer stand her climbing on furniture she wasn't supposed to, in turn either knocking things on the floor or batting us in the head with her tail, I secretly made the purchase and couldn't be happier for doing so!She spends most of her time on the top perch, as it's the perfect height to look out the window (her favorite past time). The top perch is a nice size, large enough for her to turn around and roll around a bit when she's feeling frisky without her falling off, yet the curled edges seem to be nice and snuggly. Makes me wish I had a nice little place like that to escape to! She also seems to have redirected her scracthing to the carpet of this new cat furniture as opposed to our leather couch, which is a welcome change.All in all, it was well worth every penny and Molly and Friends did a fabulous job of building a substantial piece of furniture! It looks really nice in person and of much higher quailty than it's counterparts at the pet store. I'll agree with other reviewers of these pieces that your shipping box will arrive pretty mangled, but rest assured the furniture itself will survive the trip unscathed.UPDATE 2013:I just wanted to add that 7 years later, our Molly and Friends cat tree is still as sturdy as ever and a favorite spot for our now two kitties. The only thing wrong with it is that it has been loved so much that we now have bald spots of carpet where it's been scratched at for so many years! When it finally gets so tattered that it needs replacing, I will either repurchase this exact one, or see what else Molly and Friends have available. I really wouldn't go with any other brand.

This Loft and Round arrived quickly with super-saver shipping. It came fully assembled in a very large box that was easy to unpack. For the first few hours my Maine Coon cats stalked around it in the living room as if it was a UFO, but later that night they were both climbing, playing, and using the scratching post. Both my cats are heavy - one is 18 pounds, the other is 12 pounds - and this cat tree never wobbles - even when they are both in the loft wrestling with each other. We have had it in the house over two weeks and they still play, sleep, scratch, and wrestle on it every day.I still have the first Molly and Friends product, the feline recliner Molly and Friends "Feline Recliner" Premium Handmade One Tier Sisal Cat Scratching Post Furniture with Bed, Model Scr/b, Beige - but when I added a second cat to my household I needed something they both could enjoy at the same time. The feline recliner is in the bedroom now, and the 'loft & round' took the living room spot and is a success. It doesn't have a huge footprint either, so it fits right beside my desk -and my apartment is on the small side but the beige carpeting and sisal rope colors blend right in.
