In case you're looking for dimensions

I couldn't find any specifications for this piece, so I thought I'd share in case they might be useful for someone else. The seat is about 24 inches deep and 64 inches wide (plus about seven more for the width of the backrest. The seat height is about 16 inches from the floor, and the highest part of the backrest is about 30 inches off the floor: a nice, low profile. I'm a pretty tall guy, but I can lounge on it comfortably. The storage space in the seat is about four inches deep.The fabric is decent quality, not the most velvety microfiber in the world, but it doesn't leave an impression of the last body part you pressed against it like some microfibers tend to do.Also a minor comment about attention to detail in manufacturing: the instructions listed six places for bolts to attach the armrest to the seat and backrest, but one of the holes didn't contain any hardware for a bolt. It was basically a dead end about 1/2 inch deep. This doesn't appear to make any difference in the integrity of the piece, and I've seen this sort of thing in pieces from less expensive user-assembled furniture (think Swedish meatballs and a word rhyming with BYKEA). It probably saved the manufacturer about 10 cents, but multiply that and other shortcuts by 1000 pieces and a razor-thin margins and you've saved yourself some bucks (or, more accurately, some yuan).That said, the piece is a good value and I'm happy with this purchase.

Not that great

Chaise chairs in general are way overpriced. This chair is more reasonably priced, but the $100 shipping charge is excessive. The chair is pretty hard for a sofa-type chair and not especially comfortable. It is also very narrow. I purchased the dark brown color, but the actual color is quite a bit lighter than the picture shows. The storage space is very shallow and the seat cushion opens from the arm rest side of the chair which makes it awkward to access the storage area.

wish it was a little softer

I purchased this over a year ago for myself but my kids took it over instead (I have 3 teenage boys) . It has been used so much and at one point it was the main seating area in the family room . I just wished it was softer. Another thing to point out is that shortly after i received it, the upholstery under one of the buttons opened up because the thread came loose but my husband sew it back together. I really don't care for the buttons . Sometimes it becomes uncomfortable if you sit on them for a while . I'm just thinking i could decrease that problem by covering the seat with a blanket. Every once in a while some of of the buttons will come loose but if you play around with them a little they just snap right back in place . It's very weird but so far none of them have actually fallen off . They are all still intact. Lately my husband has turned it into a daybed for our two yr old and funny enough he did put a blanket on the spot where the baby sleeps (the baby hasn't complained about the buttons squeezing him LOL).We haven't been sitting on it much since the baby took it over .When i try it with the blanket i will write another review . Overall it's really not a bad piece of furniture . For how much we have used it so far i have to say it was money well spent. I hope this review helps.

Great Rack!

I have a friend that had her husband build a huge one for her huge kitchen. I love that her pans are right there in plane site. I decided that I have a rather small kitchen and decided to start looking for something that would work in my kitchen. I found this one, purchased it and I am in love with it. I have almost every pan on it. It works perfect. I have at least 12 pans hanging on it. The rack is strong and it looks great!! Is worth every penny I spent. I wish I had a place to put another up for my utensils. Definitely worth every penny.

Great quality, fast machine, but very messy, slightly tedious to clean!

This is a great way to quickly paint a wall, room, or even an entire building. I made a big mess painting painting an unoccupied home (paint all over the floor, and overspray on some furniture I failed to cover completely ;-) because I didn't tighten the hose-to-gun connection well. It really operates at high pressure and will ooze or spray paint out of any loose connection! It's a little heavy, but not too bad. Comes with a nice long hose so you can even go upstairs with the gun and keep the noisy machine downstairs. It's also a little tedious to clean (basically you have to flush the machine before/after each use), but makes up for it with it's ability to do super-fast applications of paint.

Power Tour Guitar Rocks!

This was by far the best gift my son got for his birthday. He hasn't put it down. He has been wanting to learn to play guitar for a long time and following the lights on this guitar makes it easy and fun to learn. The songs are great too and he even uses his MP3 player more because he can play along. He feels like a real rock star now!

Can I give it six stars?! Hands down the best birthday present my 12-year-old got. His 16-year-old brother loves it too. It feels great in the hands, with a nice heft, and shiny smooth "frets" and "strings" that work like touch pads -- no buttons, just touch. NICE.It's educational, creative, and an awful lot of toy for not much money. BIG hit. It plays in several modes, you can play it like a regular guitar, or play along with your MP3 player plugged into the guitar, or do the fun exercises included in the guitar's pre-programmed tracks.It has a fabulous real guitar sound, very loud, we have to keep telling him "Turn it down!" You don't actually need the amp they sell separately, but I think the grandparents are buying that for Xmas next. He will love that too.

Really cool musical toy

This is a really cool electronic instrument. You actually will learn something about musical scales (There are 12 notes that you can play on the fret board...all the notes of a chromatic scale) If you want to play rock, you're all set...power chords all the way.The guitar has a few modes...(1) playing (2) jamming with external audio (3) 'simon"-esque mode where you follow a pattern that the guitar shows you and (4) 'visualization mode' (you plug in a music source and the fretboard animates to the music while the guitar's speaker plays the audio)You can also choose a different styles for the guitar so the notes you play will sound different (ex: with distortion, or echo, etc.) I find some of the mode to sound very similar.Overall, it's a great piece of technology for a good price.

this is what a cover should be

Needed a cover for my atv cause I leave mine on my hunting property. I didn't want a real expensive cover but I wanted my atv dry and covered. Bought this cover, and very satisfied with it. The cover is not one of those cheap vinyl knock offs. I was surprised that it is waterproof and made of cordura material. It has tie downs and fits like a glove. I have a Polaris 330 Magnum and this cover was well worth the money. Paid under 60 bucks for a 150 dollar cover, sweet.

The best transformer toy ever,,,

Well, for a start, i'm a 33 year old guy who loved the transformers show and toys when was a kid, and the movie made me rekindle that love. Anyways, the toy seemed nice in the pictures, so i bought it (at ebay, for US$ 89) and i think it's well deserved the money.It's a huge toy, the biggest transformer toy i've seen and probably one of the most detailed. It has lots of moving pieces and articulation points, so it makes it very poseable. It makes different sounds in robot and vehicle mode, the eyes and headlights are blue and very intense, while the backlights sparkle in red as they should.The car mode is very nice, but not as impressive as the robot mode. Bumblebee turns his head, rotates his arms, and moves his wings while speaking some random phrases or music and shooting the cannon on his right arm. If you play with it in vehicle mode it will make screeching and accelerating noises according to the movement you are giving to it, but it won't move on its own. I expected that the engines would allow it to move around on its own, but they do not engage with the wheels in vehicle mode.I disassembled Bumblebee and found out that the mechanism is similar to that in a computer mouse; it detects if you spin the wheels backwards and forward. The most difficult part is to assemble the arms in their socket, this step is the most important to complete the robot / vehicle transformation and it is the most delicate. There are a couple of pins on every shoulder that detect if you have put the wheel or the arm in place, i had to disassemble Bumblebee because one of the pins was stuck and kept it from working in vehicle mode. Hasbro should take note on this flaw, it can render the toy useless (from the electronics point of view, not as a transformer, of course)However, I love all the little details. The left hand has articulate fingers and an opossable thumb, so you can pose it while picking flowers or something like that : )It would have been cooler if they'd made it with transparent windows, die cast body and two hands, but hey, you can't have everything. I have a four year old daughter and we both enjoy playing together assembling and disassembling the robot, which is, by the way, a hard task. It took me 20 minutes the first time, but you can learn with repetition. If you assemble it correctly, you'll find that it has been pretty well designed, and that no pieces are out of place. You should apply some force on assembling some pieces, but not excessive force.This might be an expensive toy (US$ 89 is not something most people would pay for a toy) but again, i'm a fan, so i'm possible biased. I wouldn't recomend it for kids who are easily frustrated or that want to have fun inmediately or like to crash things against walls to test them. However if your kids are careful or you are a collector like me, you'll certainly enjoy this toy. I'd love it if Hasbro decided to keep making these kind of toys, they certainly make my G1 transformers (that i still keep in a shelf) look simple and dated.Of course that there's always a market for the simple flip-and-go transformer toy, but adults with their inner child alive will love Bumblebee.

Highly detailed, somewhat unconventional, worth the price...

Ultimate Bumblebee is currently available for pre-order, and will be released in September. I decided to preorder my copy a few days ago.I had a chance to experiment with Bumblebee for a bit, at a toy Fair so I'll review based on my experience. I should note from the beginning, that the picture of Bumblebee on Amazon has been mistransfromed. The chest section separates into three pieces, creating a more streamlined figure. Ultimate Bumblebee stands tall, at 14 inches in height. That's about 2 inches taller than Leader Optimus Prime!In car mode, the toy accurately represents the Camero. The front doors can open, but unfortunately, there is no interior design. Opening the front doors (with a lot of force) will just lead you to a huge block of plastic, instead of seats, and a steering wheel, which makes the effort quite useless.In addition to having Transforming capabilities, the toy also has some electronic features. By a push of a button on Bumblebee's chest, the toy can say certain cath phrases, and even play some songs (most noticeably, "Whip it" by Devo). The right arm canon can automatically raise and fire a plastic missile, the head automatically rotates, while the back wings flap by themselves. Bumblebee also reacts to certain environmental noises, such as hand clapping. Yeap, this is a fully automated toy.As a person who has been collecting Transformers for years, I can honestly say that I'm not sure how to categorize toy. It seems more of an electronic toy than a Transformer.But, while I'm not a big fan for electronics, I would say that in addition to Bumblebee's car mode, his robot mode is extremely well done (minus the face plate, and lack of a hand on the gun arm). In fact, I believe that the robot mode in Ultimate Bumblebee is more accurate and detailed than the deluxe action figures. That said, if you can afford this version of Bumblebee, definitely make sure to get it.The toy stands great as a collector's item. Here is the breakthrough of my review:Design: 4.5/5EXTREMELY well detailed car and robot mode. The best that I've seen in the current Transformer line. But, having a face plate, and hand on the gun arm, would have made this toy almost perfect.Possibility: 4/5Arms can move somewhat, but the electronic mechanism in the shoulder joints, hinders much of the rotation about the ball-sockets.Electronics: 4.5/5Cool, yet somewhat annoying after a while. I might take the batteries out after getting this toy.Overall Score (not an average): 4.5/5If you don't like electronics - get past that. This is a pretty sweet transformer. Highly detailed. Collectors and fans of the movie will appreciate this toy.

parents beware

Parents be advised. I just got this thing today for my son's 7th birthday - he's a huge transformers fan and can transform any one he has quickly. He completely gave up in utter frustration - the booklet indicates something like 30 steps to go from robot to car mode - so it was daddy's turn to try - the thing just will NOT snap together perfectly - the arms, etc do not go into the car at all, let alone easily - roughly 2 hours later it was Mom'd turn because I was seriously stressed - she gave up after trying really really hard so it was DAddy's turn again - and then Mommy's - and then Daddy's until the whole day got away from us - all this while a 7 year old waited as patiently as he could for it to be a car. WE came SO CLOSE to getting it before we had to admit that ti just didn't snap together perfectly - not to mention that there was no way we were going to let him EVER put it in Robot mode again so what's the point?Yes, it's really really cool and the lights, etc.. are bright and it never felt like we were in danger of breaking it during all of this so it gets high marks for it's durability but this one is going back - I told my son he could have as many other transformers as he wanted to make up fo the disappointment - and I got this one at a great price from Costco ($70.00) I would have ben so much more pissed if I spent the hundred it was originally advertised at - expect this thing to bottom out in the 50 dolalr range as we get closer to Christmas. There will be A LOT of returns after the holidays.

Freeing superior sound from wires

These headphones do provide vastly superior sound quality to any of the other bluetooth headphones I've tried. This is understandable as there is almost a $100 difference between these and any other headset I've tried..But that difference in price was more than worth it as I no longer feel as though I'm compromising sound quality and comfort.Pros:- I use them 7+ hours a day with little to no ear fatigue.- Very clean sound with responsive bass. I listen mostly to electronic music with lots of bass and these do not leave me wanting. The difference between these and other headsets I've tried (some even wired) is huge.- The battery easily lasts an entire work day without need for recharge. (the manual says the batteries will last ~17 hours of continual use and I don't doubt it)- Replaceable battery! I haven't seen this in many bluetooth headsets. Although it is not designed such that the battery can be easily replaced, there are instructions in the manual should replacement become necessary.- Pair with up to 8 bluetooth devices. Most headsets stop at 2 or 3.- Easy to use controls. The control buttons are easily told apart by touch. (there's even a music folder navigation button for devices that support it)- Effective PASSIVE noise cancellation. as in they're muffs. they just block out outside sound and block it well.- Built-in mic of decent quality for voice calls.- Works perfectly with my Samsung SPH-M620 (UpStage) cell phone.though any cell phone with the A2DP and AVRCP bluetooth profiles should work fine.Note to Mac users: OSX 10.4 does not natively support the A2DP bluetooth profile (though there is a hack to get it working) but 10.5 (Leopard) will, so you should be able to pair these to a mac running 10.5I think Windows Vista does have built-in A2DP support. As long as your PC supports bluetooth, these should pair up just fine.Cons:- susceptible to interference from other electronic devices that operate in the 2.4Ghz wireless spectrum. (wireless internet, some wireless phones, and other bluetooth devices). Of course, no bluetooth headset is immune to this. There is no loss in sound quality, they may just cut out if interference is extreme.- the fast forward/rewind switch is perhaps just a tad to easy to accidentally hit while going for the volume control.- I'm getting a permanent groove in my hairdo.If you're willing to drop a little extra, I believe these headphones will more than make up the difference.

I'm converting from high end ear-buds to the Sony DRBT50s

I recently purchased a blue-tooth compatible pda phone. I know I had to immerse myself in the unit in order to fully use it. I ordered two headsets to use with my new phone, a Jawbone, and the Sony DRBT50's.While the jawbone is probably one of the best of noise cancelling headsets out there, there's still occasional static and drop outs. I didn't really believe that A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) could really pass two channels of music to a pair of headsets without dropout and static.I charged the units till the lights indicated full charge (about 2 hours) just like you have to do with any electronic before you play with it. The pairing was easy, exactly like every other blue-tooth pairing you've ever done. Next I put the headphone's on my head.Let me tell you that while these units are comparatively large, they fold nicely and yet have some of the nicest and softest feeling padding around the cans I've ever felt. More like high end audiophile headphones then the usual blue tooth level consumer stuff. Adjust the fit, (stiff sliding shafts just like traditional headphones) and they felt comfortable enough to wear for hours.I like the travel-ability of my Shure and Etymotic earbuds, they also sound great. I was often intrigued by the Bose (active) noise cancelling headphones but put off by the price and the generally flat reviews from serious music folks.Next, I opened media player and hit play on one of my favorite songs. The sound was beautiful. Crisp highs, deep lows, and crystal clear. I ran through about 2 hours of music and couldn't find a song that wasn't truly impressive on these cans. I totally forgot about static and dropout, I never heard it once.Finally, when getting ready for bed, I gave them a quick distance test. I set the player on my kitchen counter and walked about 20 feet to let the dogs out. Crystal clear all the way. I even stepped outside the door and the music played on. I had to walk an additional 8-10 feet outside before I got the music to start breaking up.The DRBT50 controls are a bit hard to use until you get used to them. Next, back, volume up and down are the primary music controls. There's also a nice big button for use as a blue-tooth headset while on the phone. A small omnidirectional mice built nearly invisibly into the right can serves as a mic. While the phone call I placed with them was crystal clear, I felt that in loud conditions there might be quite a bit of noise for ht e person at the other end of the line to deal with.If I lived in a place with a train commute, I'd get a blue-tooth 2 device and these cans. I've logged hundreds of thousands of miles with my ear buds, but my next trip, they'll stay home and these relatively compact (put your two fists together for a size approximation) yet beautiful sounding headphones will be with me.I would recommend these unites to anybody. Most impressive wireless tech I've seen yet.

Not for watching movies

I got these headphones today and was surprised at how light they were.Charged them fully in under 2 hours.Held down the power button for 2 blinking lights, paired them with my Katana II (Sanyo 6650) and my XPS M1330.Dialed my mom and she said she felt like she was on speaker, but no serious issues.I didn't like the fact that the headphones were muting my own voice because they go around the ear...so I couldn't be too sure if she heard me well because I could barely hear my self.The initial feeling of headphones on my ears were painful...but I just extended the reach...and that put less stress on my ears, ended up comfy enough.Then I powered up my laptop and started watching a video clip.The sound quality, I have to admit, is very good.The problem is, the latency is a huge issue. Words do not match the lip movement. I have tried several clips and it's there...everywhere.Couple of times the connection would break off for a second or two.I got these headphones to watch movies on the laptop and listen to music, movies are unacceptable so these are going back.I hope this review helps.P.S. I don't foresee any issues with music playing (there are no lips to read)P.P.S. The buttons are awkward, especially for volume. One has a small edged out dot, like on keyboards to increase volume, the decrease volume is plain smooth, hard to guess just by touch...

Great canopy

Living in Phoenix, I was interested in making the stroller as comfortable in the heat as possible, and this canopy seemed sensible. My baby loves it - she can see a little through the mesh sides and is not so enclosed. I also think it is cooler than the tailored canopy that comes with the bugaboo. I only wish there was an option to order this from the beginning, as we now have an essentially unused tailored canopy, which is a bit of a waste. Highly recommended.

Perfect addition to a fan by Modern Fan Company

I had an unused Ball Fan from the Modern Fan Company in my basement. It was originally to be used in a house that had recessed lighting and did not require additional lighting on the fan. I was very happy to find this lighting kit which fits perfectly and matches the brushed aluminum finish. For those of you who know the quality of the finish of the fans made by Modern Fan Company you will appreciate that the same quality goes into the lighting kit.I could not be more happy with my purchase. As I am now in an older home I combined this purchase with a remote control kit by the same company so that I could independently control the light and the fan and everything works like a charm.

yummy dog treats but cats love it too!!

I HAVE 7 CATS AND THEY ALL LOVE THIS TREAT. FINALLY A TREAT THEY ALL EAT. HAS ONLY ONE INGREDIENT AND THATS RAW FREEZE DRIED WILD SALMON. I DO HAVE TOO BREAK UP SOME FOR THE SENIOR CAT BECAUSE HE HAS NO BACK TEETH, BUT BOY HE DEVOURS THEM LIKE NO TOMORROW. ALSO DELIVERY WAS RIGHT ON TIME. A DATE WAS GIVEN AND THAT WHEN IT SHOWED UP. IN FACT AMAZON HAS BEEN RIGHT ON THE NOSE ON MANY OCCASIONS. THEY ARE AMAZING,,,

Better deal for cats

I buy the six-pack of WildSide Salmon dog treats for my cats as it's cheaper than the WildSide Salmon cat treats. Every once in a while I'll have to break a chunk into smaller pieces but for the most part they are the same easily managed sized chuncks of dried salmon. My cats love WildSide so much they think they're supposed to have some with every meal. The bags open easily and stay closed with the built-in resealing zipper keeping the salmon fresh. Good stuff!

Wild for Wildside

I actually buy these salmon treats for my cat. They discontinued the cat treats at my vet's office and a friend of mine told me the "dog" treats are exactly the same...even the size. My cat goes absolutely insane over these treats. My "granddog" also loves them when he comes to visit. Warning: my cat is so addicted to these treats we have started calling it "kitty crack"! He knows which cabinet they are in and lets me know by jumping on the counter and pawing at the cabinet door.
