The new Monarch Riflescope Series features Monarch Eye Box Technology, a huge ocular with a generous field of view that provides 4-times magnification zoom range and four inches of constant eye relief. Quick-focus eyepiece allows for a crisp, detailed sight picture. Magnification reference numbers are viewable from the shooter's position thanks to Smooth Zoom Control. Standard on all Long Range Monarch riflescopes, Nikon's easy-to reach dial allows you to quickly focus from a shooting position. Enhanced Mount Ring Spacing provides mounting to virtually any rifle action regardless of caliber, even magnum length actions. (2.5-10x50 may require extension rings in some cases). Ultra ClearCoat Optical System is the basis of the new Monarch scope. It consists of superfine Eco-Glass lens glass and Nikon's proprietary anti-reflection multi-coating technology that boost light transmission up to its theoretical maximum - 95% One-Piece Main Body Tubes. The scope is milled from aircraft-grade aluminum for minimum weight and maximum strength and durability, and is sunshade adaptable. Monarch Riflescopes are waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof. Windage adjustment

This is a fabulous rifle scope!!I purchased it for my Remington 700 ADL and have spent two different days shooting with it. The optics are clear and even in low light situations the scope makes it look like full daylight when sighting on the target. The eye box technology makes high power shooting a dream.The fact that it comes with almost $200 worth of accessories makes the higher price a bargain. (Two full sets of tall turrets and the sunshade are included.)The main reason that I am writing this review is to make potential buyers aware of a solution to a problem that I had with this excellent scope. I could not get the scope aligned to where I had symmetrical windage adjustment with the turret. In my ignorance I returned the scope and replaced it with the same model, thinking that I had a defective scope.That was far from reality; I had an adjustment problem with the mounting on the gun. Apparently the mount screw holes are slightly skewed to where the scope sits angled to the right on this gun. I have since found a solution to that problem and regret returning the original scope.The solution is windage adjustable scope rings. There is an excellent selection of that type of ring here on Amazon; search: Millett 2 Extension Smooth Steel Angle-Loc Windage Adjustable Ring (I now see that they are out of stock) or at millet themselves; [...].A simple and elegant solution to a problem that would cause a buyer to return a perfectly good scope when in fact it was a physical mounting problem with the gun itself.Again, this scope is a fine product and I would recommend it to anyone.

Can't beat this thing. I have it mounted on my Remington 700 and it is awesome. I love using this thing. Used other scopes around the same price range and this one is by far the best I've used.
