A Beautiful Little Gift...

I bought this ring as a relatively inexpensive Valentine's gift for my wife and she absolutely loves it! I write "relatively inexpensive" because the the "created" ruby is still very pretty and is a good price vs. the $600 price tag of the "real" ruby. The ring fits very well (a good size 5.5 for her), is well made, and looks great. What else can I write? I would recommend this ring whole heartedly.

Nice Opal Ring

This ring was purchased as a gift, and the recipient was very pleased. The stone is a good size, and the setting was exactly as shown online. The ring came in a nice gift box. The real selling point for this ring, compared to what I was finding in local stores, is that it is 14K gold, instead of the more common sterling silver. For the price I could not find a comparable ring in gold.

Good Food for Furry Friends

Before we got our first ferret I did a lot of research on different foods. Getting your ferret premium food has a very direct impact on both their lifespan and their quality of life. Since ferrets don't live that long this is especially important for them. ZuPreem gives them every thing they need and if you buy it in bulk it isn't even that expensive. We've got two tupperware type bins we bought at Walmart that we transfer the food into, otherwise it'll go stale at best or may gain extra protein of the buggy kind at worse. 30 pounds lasts our three carpet sharks about six months. I've bought from PetFoodDirect before and recommend you get on their mailing list because they have frequent sales. They've always shipped promptly and things arrived in good shape.

This diet is better than many others, don't get me wrong, but I believe it is best supplemented with other foods such as 8-1 ultimate crunchy in like a 3:1 ratio (1 being the zupreem), because this diet makes my ferret's poop really sticky and soft and harder to clean up.

Shhhhh!, Quiet!

Works!, what more can I say. Completely gutted and sound deadened my 2002 Ram Air T/A interior with 36 sheets of DynaMat and two rolls of DynaPad. Much quieter, barely discernible road & exhaust noise. New sound system kicks now with added insulation. Can actually use hands free Bluetooth without having to yell in microphone.Expensive but worth it now that I installed it. The DynaMat Pro Roller is a must for install.

Heavy Duty

This stuff is heavy and thick. It does not have an adhesive backing.It will be just enough to cover the entire cabin area of a car under the seats.It is basically heavy rubber sandwiched between two layers of neoprene. (Closed cell foam.)There is no doubt that this will provide some serious sound dampening qualities to cut road noise.I recommend it.

great for a small tortoise

I have a Russian tortoise that openly resents the fact that she does not have unlimited access to the outdoors.However, since we live in PA, and because I have no intention of building a mess of an outdoor pen, I wanted toget an option that would allow her to be outside and not be constricted by glass, etc. (She still has to be enclosedas we have a number of hawks around that would be more than happy to grab her)Thus, I tried this product.In short, this would make a great indoor or outdoor pen. Nice Ring, Good value, Hassle Free Transaction

I went to a jeweler to have it appraised independently and confirmed that it was white gold, and a half carat opal of course. It is true that the photos tend to make the ring appear a bit beefier than it is (both the stone and the band), but for comparable plain rings in white gold, I thought it was a decent value because of the "triquetra" design. Though marketed as a Celtic knot, I associate the design with a Northern European runestone design symbolic of Odin. It also has a sort of naturalistic "art nouveau" appearance which reminds me a bit of Tolkien's elves. In any case, it is a beautiful yet simple design, understated, and tasteful IMO. The white opal burns with internal fire making it a fun ring to gaze into.The shipping was of average speed, neither fast or late. Though I felt it a bit riskier to deal with an unseen merchant, long distance, for such an item, compared to the greasy, ingratiating jewelry store sales people, who of course know more about jewelry and jewelry value than you, ordering online with the facts printed in black and white, with no haggling and games, was well worth it IMO.I ordered a Size 9 ring, but it was a bit small. As shown to me at the jewelry store that I went to, it was actually a size 8.75. I had it re-sized to 9.25 at my expense, due to time constraints.It did come in a nice jewelry box, with a little stuffed bear. The bear was a nice touch. The jewelry box, though nice, had the website address embossed on it (extra advertising) which I would have preferred not to have.Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and satisfied with the transaction. I would deal with this merchant again. Best of all, my fiance loved the ring.

Beckett Flower Girl Fountain

This is a beautiful product easily installed in your garden with minimum effort. Good buy!! 4 stars rather than 5 because the assembly instructions were near useless, and the design of the fountain required significant ingenuity to assemble. (I have done most of my auto repairs for years, have access to excellent tools - I rarely find it difficult to assemble anything I buy). One screw needed to complete assembly was missing - a $1 purchase at Home Depot. The base on which the angel stands has two small rectangular panels which are removable and which must be removed to complete connecting the angels water hose to the small pump in the base - this point is not mentioned!! Still love the product and recommend it with the caveat that assembly will be challenging (took me an hour - half and hour to figure out how to do it, half an hour or less to do it).

It says it is a trunk kit but it barely was enough for half my trunk. For 100 dollars I figured I would get more out of it but dynamat make a huge difference in car audio. It is still a must have for high powered systems.

Worth Every Dollar

This cage is worth every penny. It is huge! It weighs 104lbs which makes it kind of hard to get out of the box. But it is extremely easy to assemble, with a hex key which it comes with. All the pieces were present and intact. I have a sun conure and he loves all the room he has to climb and play. The huge door on the front is absolutely perfect for adding toys and perches. The doors for the food dishes are just the right height. I LOVE this product and highly recommend it for medium bird owners.

Nice, sturdy parrot cage

I set up this cage for my Eclectus a month ago, and I am totally happy with it. I often don't like playtops because they are dark, but this one isn't. There is plenty of light inside and for even more light, you can remove the tray under the playtop, and there is still a grate there for your bird to walk on. The latches have a nice feel and I like the outside access to the feed dishes. This cage is a perfect size for med-large parrots. It wasn't hard to put together and took about an hour. Great quality for the money!

Needs improved casters

I really like this cage, but the casters are horrible. The only reason I didn't give this product 5 stars is because of the casters. The cage itself is high quality and very durable. It's large enough for some toys/swings inside, plus the play area on the top is great for toys and/or foraging pieces. However, when my husband and I assembled it and put the casters on, one of them broke. We just thought we were too rough on it, but after ordering another set and putting those on, another one broke. And this time I am certain that the only thing I was trying to do was roll it back into place. If you don't need the casters on, the cage is great.

Well designed

It took maybe 10 minutes to put this item together on Christmas Eve. There were more parts than I had expected and the plane was also larger than I had expected but this turned out to be perfect for little hands to fit down inside of. The wheels roll and turn Very smoothly. The plastic is heavy duty and will not be breaking in our lifetime. While the wheels occasionally come off during a 'crash' and sometimes the tail has fallen off, I believe this is what keeps the toy from really breaking. It's a good design and the kids 3&5 can usually put it back together themselves. The top comes off, the side door opens and there is a luggage compartment in the back.

Fantastic jet for kids who love airplanes!

We bought this private jet, the 5811, and the larger model 4310 commercial jet for our twin 4-year-old sons, as well as the airline terminal, tower, and some accessory pieces. They absolutely LOVE the whole set, but they especially love the planes. They are so realistic and spark our boys' imaginations! The private jet is about 2/3 the size of the commercial jet and is a bit easier for the boys to hold for pretend flying; however, they do sometimes fight over the larger one simply because it is larger.Note that the plane does take a good 30 minutes or more to put together, so I recommend assembling it BEFORE your child sees it. (We wrapped empty boxes for them to open and then surprised them with the assembled toys).The only flaw, which most other customers have also noted, is that the wheels and the tail wing tend to pop off too easily. It's easy to put back on, but I wish Playmobil had given this more thought. The boys don't care though and I simply pop them back on whenever this happens, which is at least daily. Fortunately, the private jet seems to have less of this problem than the commercial jet, which has more pieces to pop off. All in all, I am very glad to have purchased this and our boys are getting lots of great pretend play out of them. PS...These products are considerably cheaper on Playmobil's website. Hopefully, Amazon starts selling this instead of 3rd party stores, so we customers can get free shipping AND good prices!

Playmobil business jet a fine toy airplane

My 3 1/2 yr old granddaughter wanted an 'airplane' for Christmas (grandpa's a pilot). After a fair amount of shopping around, this looked like a good bet. I think it is. Toy is made from appears to be pretty durable plastic parts. Top of the fuselage comes off, allowing child to play with pilot and Texas oilman passenger in airplane. One note of caution: plane comes in parts and must be assembled. Graphic assembly instructions are large and clear, but assembly is complex enough that an adult will be required to do the assembly. Presumably one who has some aptitude at using graphic instructions.

worth it if you know what you're using it for

If you're expecting a perfect replacement for pencil and paper then you're bound to be disappointed. The technology is not perfect, but the Cintiq is more intuitive to use than a traditional graphics tablet. I still do most drawing/sketching on paper, but for painting and 3d sculpting, the hands-on approach on the Cintiq is quite welcome. I undo strokes far less and have a better connection with what I'm doing and how it's affecting the image.If you're a hobbyist then it would be wise to investigate the Intuos or Bamboo line of tablets first. I use both a regular Intuos tablet and the Cintiq at work and home routinely and find they have their strengths for different tasks. Obviously, you can get amazing results with a regular graphics tablet alone and you shouldn't buy the Cintiq with it in mind that it will automagically make you a better artist. However, it helps my productivity and is a refreshing way to work. The benefit to more ably focus on what you're doing rather than how you're doing it is difficult to quantify, but that's what the Cintiq sets out to do and does it well.A lot is made of the hefty price tag, but considering you get a very large monitor (which, by the way, in terms of visual quality is better than most regular LCD monitors) and built in capabilities of a large graphics tablet, it's not a bad deal. I use it as my primary monitor for general computer usage as well.

Excellent for professionals

If you are in the graphics industry and do a lot of work in programs like Illustrator, Painter and Photoshop then the Cintiq tablets are a real time-saver. I have owned a 21UX for a year now, and have seen a real increase in speed as well as a chance to experiment with new techniques in a way that is far more intuitive than my Intuos 3 tablet (although that is a great product too.) It is important to calibrate the cursor to the pen nib but this is very easy to do and can be changed when you use the tablet in different positions.If you have an existing Wacom tablet and an extra monitor you can set up a dual monitor system with the smaller tablet working with the second monitor which is very useful as well... you don't have to pick up a mouse in order to move your cursor onto the second screen, you just move your stylus to the tablet and it is very seamless.This is by far my favorite tech purchase, but I advise anyone who does not use graphics programs as part of their daily work to consider one of the simpler products Wacom has produced that still allow for this sort of tablet functionality -- this is an expensive product but well worth it if you are an illustrator, animator, or Photoshop professional.I would say my speed has increased about 25% due to fewer undo's and the more intuitive work environment.

A return to natural drawing!

This is by far THE BEST of it's kind and well thought out. I have one at work and at home and will never go back to the odd seperation of hand and eye again! I've even found myself trying to use my finger to smudge or erase it's so natural feeling. With the sliders and programable buttons I hardly ever use the keyboard now except to type emails. My Poor 23" cinema display is going to waste in the background as the Cintiq is the only screen I use. I've found I have better posture, less eye strain, and less 'fear' about starting on the blank canvass. I'm left handed and this is great because it's fully programable for lefty's and I dont' smudge my sketches anymore. And even if you feel you "cant see behind your hand", you can even program an offset so the cursor is in a place where you're comfy with it. No excuses.. The one at work is mounted on an arm (iLift from Innovative, and you don't need the apple adapter for the Wacom) and it's great for moving it out of the way or getting it in your lap. The stand it comes with is great too, but I often find I have it hanging off the edge of the desk leaving the $2500 ready to hit the floor. So I recomend you get a good heavy-weight arm to mount it on. Also the arm allows you to take more advantage of the rotate feature. Being able to rotate the tablet like you would a piece of paper is the biggest problem with drawing on a regular tablet. Get it, use it, and you'll love it!
