This is an excellent blade for cuitting plastic

I just purchased the Forrest NM106011125 No Melt 10" 60 Tooth 5/8" Arbor 1/8" Kerf Plastic Cutting saw blade and love it! It has exceeded my expectation of a smooth, chip free and no melt edge while cutting of acrylite (plastic). Originally, I thought I could get by with my Freud XXX wood cutting blade (to save a few bucks), but I couldn't have been more wrong.If you are in need of a excellent blade for cutting plastic, this is the one for you.

I run a model shop, that mainly works in acrylic. We've used many top brands of professional blades over the years, but it wasn't until one of our staff (who does cabinet work as a hobby) brought in a Forrest wood blade and we marveled at the cut quality that I decided to try out one of the "No Melt" blades.Now I don't know why I waited so long. I will need to see how long this goes before needing re-sharpening, but initially, it is a lovely blade. Quiet, and nearly no chatter on the cuts. I think once I have a better sense of the blade durability (and at this point, I think Forrest's description of it being unusually long lasting will prove correct) I will be ordering several more of these. Depending on your saw, you may want to consider a stiffener plate.
