Product Description

Forrest's blades offer a superior cut that leaves a rip-cut saw edge that is as smooth as if it had been sanded, and a cross-cut edge that is almost mark-free. The blades run very quietly, and backside tearout in plywood is negligible. Each blade is virtually hand-made. The plate is hand-tensioned (up to 15 minutes per blade), superior C-4 carbide teeth are hand-brazed to the plate, and the blade is straightened and restraightened multiple times throughout the process. Think of a Forrest blade as a tool in your shop, not an accessory. Forrest stands behind it's blades by offering a sharpening service that bring blades back to the exact tolerances offered in a new blade. And this same exacting service is available for other manufacturer's blades as well, so they should come back better than new. The NO-MELT carbide-tipped saw blade is especially designed for cutting single or multiple stacked sheets of plastic without chipping or melting these materials. NO-MELT blades are particularly suitable for acrylics, delrins, ABS (Coycolac), styrenes, PVC, and both high and low melt nylons. Specially engineered side clearances on the carbide teeth significantly reduced and in many cases, totally eliminate any formation of melted burrs of buildup of residue on cross-sawn sections of plastic materials. Made with DOUBLE-HARD and 40% stronger #C4 Carbide. 50% to 300% Longer Life Between Sharpenings, Reduced Yearly Sharpening Costs, Less Machine Downtime, Improved Labor Efficiency, Inventory Savings -- Fewer Blades Required.10-inch circular saw blade with a 5/8-inch arbor, 1/8-inch kerf, and a 30-tooth designCuts in all directions- rip, cross-cut, miter, any depth; cuts all sized grooves 1/4 inch through 29/32-inch incrementsSuper-hard carbide gives up to 300% longer life; works especially well on plywoods and abrasive particle-boardsSet of plastic adjusting shims includedWeighs 2.3 pounds shipped

5Only the best
By Ralph C. Walker
You cannot go wrong with this blade. I now have 4 Forrest blades plus a dado set. This 30 tooth is used for ripping very thick hardwood. The 40 tooth is used to general purpose, I have 2 of these so I can have one waiting while the other is being sharpenned. I also have a 12 inch for my chop/miter saw for smooth cuts on molding and cross cutting. I always send all of them back to the factory for sharpenning. They come back like brand new within 10 days of sending them. Buy a Forrest blade and keep it for life.

5This is my go-to blade for much of my work.
By Ronald
I use this blade for my general purpose blade, from ripping medium stock to cutting down plywood. I know many use the 40 tooth blade for their general purpose blade, but I like this even better (I have a 40 tooth Freud Fusion to compare it to, which is a very good blade as well). Only a specialized blade does better on sheet goods. I don't know what I'd replace it with.

5Great blades
By Constructor
I own four Forrest blades (used for various applications) and I think the are the best blades for all table and miter saws used for woodworking.
