Great item, worked as expected!
By Fixitguy
This Brick molding router bit with 1/2” shank (i.e. not for use in most hand held routers as the 3”+ inch bit would be too big and they exceed the safe operating speed of this bit which is 11-12,000 rpm)The bit is great for making your own brick moldings for new or replacing determinate moldings on your home; the bit made beautiful flat and sharp edged molding in redwood I used to replace add, and change door and widow openings ; I made them out of 2”x4” & 2”x6” redwood lumber bought at bib box stores, routed it, then cut it to my desired/needed thickness on my table saw… It would have cost me a fortune to buy all the redwood brick mold I need (as was originally installed on my 1930 home) judging from the performance of the old molding I am replacing (due to size changes) my newly made brick mold should last 70+ years ;0)

A nice addition to the toolchest

Matches the profile for brick molding you get from Lowes & HD. I needed to create a round profile for brick molding for a dormer window. This tool worked great! Well made product.
