The high quality Vipp bins have a specially designed damper mechanism which closes the lid smoothly and traps in odors.
The Vipp 15 Bin is great for kitchens or nurseries. Hand-assembled in Denmark of powder-coated steel, stainless steel, and rubber parts. One roll of 50 bin liners included. Ten-year manufacturer's warranty.

Pricy Pail but Best Out There for Baby Diaper Pails.

I must have went through 10 pails with my son trying to find one that didn't let the stink out, and looked presentable. That was 10 years ago. We purchased this pail 1 year ago for my daughter who was about to born. After a solid year of use, it looks like brand new inside and out, and has NEVER made the room smell, no matter how dirty the diaper, how stuffed the pail was, perfect. Needless to say I am very happy with the purchase dispite the cost. I have used the VIPP bags as well to line the pail and they work great, very strong no matter how much you stuff in the pail. Because the pail holds a few days worth of diapers, and holds the smell in you don't need to change it until its full; thus you go through less bags as well.I have no complaints about my purchase besides the cost - but the pail is great and after a solid year of testing I can honestly say its worth the price instead of having a room smelling of diapers or having to constantly change pails or try new ones out. Definately recommended

This is ridiculously expensive, embarrassingly so in fact. However, it no longer smells like baby poop in my house...I'd have paid a thousand dollars for that. And when you consider that the boy will be wearing diapers for three years, give or take, it definitely seems worth the money. It looks super cool too.

I didn't know which waste basket to purchase for our new baby girl's room. This is my second child and I tried TONS of other "baby" waste bins and none stopped the smell; not even with the added filters and such. I was skeptical but figured I could return it... and went ahead and purchased this pricy bin! Well.. I am glad I did. It is sooo worth the money, no smell, looks clean and neat, and goes with any decor... plus it can last for whatever use once she grows up. It looks great in any room. But; the main issue is there is no more poop smell! Even when you open the lid to toss a diaper in, your not hit with that awful smell. I would recommend this to anyone who is expecting, or someone who needs a bin that handles the smell! Downside is the price... but I guess if you tried a diaper geinee, and other brands... that all adds up... so just go with one and you will be happy with no more stinkies!Also, the bin is backed by a lifetime guarantee.. so you can't go wroong! Our little girl is now 3 weeks... I'll update again in a few months let you know how it still works out; but so far, we are 100% happy.
