Great value for awesome components

I bought these to replace the stock A-pillar tweeters in a Honda Element as the first step in a stereo upgrade. After installing them (a total cakewalk), I realized they made up all the difference that was lacking in the stock system. The imaging is superb now and it boosts the highs in a needed way from the front. Crystal clear and they handle the power with no distortion at max volume. Best upgrade available for my toaster. A very easy mounting system too. National deals is a great company to do business with. With a deal like this and prompt shipping, I'd be happy to buy from them again.

Installed these on my 03 Honda Element to replace A-pillar tweeters that were starting to sound screechy.There are a couple options on how to mount these, I chose to do the flush mount.It was very easy to create a hole for the cup that holds the tweeter. The cup has a generous lip, so that your rough cut edge is hidden. Then the four-legged metal bracket installs from behind with one screw to lock the cup in place. The tweeter is pushed into the cup like an eyeball into a socket. Once installed, the "eyeball" tweeter can be aimed inside the cup, so that the tweeter can be aimed toward the listener to some extent.I used the stock crossover with no modification.The result: FANTASTIC! I cannot remember the stereo sounding better. I had to back off on the treble to "center" position, whereas before I had it near max from the day I bought the car in '03.Now music with tamborines, cymbals, or vocals sounds sparkling clear and as if it was live.I was so impressed with Polk Audio, I also splurged for db651s coaxial door speakers front and back. No changes to my head unit. Now the package is complete. The clarity is even better in the midrange.Even with the other speaker upgrades, these tweeters made the biggest difference to my system. They are more efficient and visually attractive than I could have imagined.UPDATE: I love the crisp yet not harsh sound of these tweeters so much, I went and got a set for my '02 Honda s2000. They fit perfectly in this car without any cutting.I just can't say enough about how these bring my car stereos to life.

I recently decided to upgrade the speaker system in my 2003 Infiniti G35 Sports Coupe. While the car comes with what is supposed to be Bose speakers, we have since found out that the components are not actually manufactured by Bose and while I am not picking on that issue, the coupe really needed some help in the audio department. Bass was bad, the mid-range cloudy and the tweeters - well if you tried real hard you could actually tell that some sort of sound was coming from them.The tweeter location in the G35 is the forward upper edge of the door panel, a perfect location for tweeters. Installation required a bit of engineering as I wanted to use the stock connections and mounting hardware, but if you are handy with tools it is a simple procedure. They are a perfect fit and once installed with the panels back on, you would never know they were changed out until you turned on the system. Wow, I can now actually hear the tweeters with tones that are rich and very distinct. I normally listen to a lot of satellite radio along with a personal CD collection and the change in the system is on par with quieter, more expensive vehicles. A G35 Sports Coupe is a very interesting combination of luxury and performance but there are trade-offs in each area. A quiet car it is not, so the audio system needs to be able to overcome that noise with something that is not just loud and harsh. The Polk Audio tweeters are a significant improvement in that area and I highly recommend them.
