Mobility kit ... a must

This is a must for BMW owners who have moved away from those awful run flat (run craps) tyres. After all, even BMW is now installing Michelin PSS tyres on their performance models. The goo is a latex solution that washes out if you get a flat. The last thing you want is some gunk that congeals in the tyre and cannot be removed, thus making your tyre useless and raises the need for a new tyre. That is the problem with runflats ... you can drive on them for up to 100 kms, but they cannot be repaired.

Purchased this kit as an alternative to a spare tire and rim >$500-700. Continental tires are fantastic and now I have a compact solution and sense of security. Well worth it and much cheaper than purchasing the same kit through BMW directly.

Good Solution

Using the mobility kit to escape the OEM Zero-Pressure tires. No telling how it works until I need it, but appears well made and has BMW's blessing. Packaging had no visible damage but the tire pressure gauge included was crushed when I received the kit (It's plastic) - the vendor offered to replace it once I return the damaged piece, which is all one can ask - but doubt its even worth the postage. Except for the plastic gauge this kit has the look and feel of BMW - should be a good choice if I ever need it.
