What works for the wife, works for me
By Ryan
My wife gets eaten alive by mosquitos, often not even seeing them bite her until she comes inside with half a dozen bites. I bought this and put it next to my chicken coop where it could have the added effect of killing the flys that congregate by the chickens outdoor run. I have about a 2 acre back yard and where it is placed the light can be seen from most of it. It's hanging outside plugged into a GFCI outdoor outlet I set up. It kills thousands of bugs and she went from getting bit every night to getting about 3 bites in the 3 weeks I had it running. She is very happy. I have the fly lure on it in addition to an octenol lure I put inside of it. A modification I did was to drill a tiny hole in the bottom of the collection pan so that water could drain out when it rains. I cleaned it once a week with compressed air. My chickens go ballistic when I bring dead insect catcher to them. A dozen chickens can eat an inch of bugs in the collection pan in about 5 minutes. So I really killed a few birds with one stone on this one. It kills the flys, my wife is getting bit much less and the chickens are getting their fill of insects.

Insects worst nightmare.
By H. Butts
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R6RB49XD8VKS2 This unit is quite enormous indeed. I just received mine 2 days ago and It attracts Mosquitoes like no other. I was going to purchase the 80watt version, then said to myself "You know what, since I have miles of bush around my farm, I'm going to go with the commercial/industrial version". After I set this thing up at dusk, the heat started to attract the mosquitoes pretty efficiently. Might try it with the Octenol cartridges later though, even though at the rate its going, it more then likely doesn't need them. If you find it a pain to clean the bottom catcher every few days though, just take the collection tray off so the bugs will fall onto the ground. The ants will be your nightly clean up crew. Ants dont sleep by the way. You have to stand back at a minimum of 30 feet from the unit as all bugs including mosquitoes tend to swarm around you to get at it. Its quite annoying hearing the high pitched mosquitoe wings *zzzZZZT*, then again its doing its job amazingly. At 120watts, three 40watt bulbs, this thing is a powerhouse of annihilation. Also if you feel like checking on how many mosquitoes you brought in during the night if you use the catcher, dont bother. Trying to count how many mosquitoes the thing killed is like counting grains of sand. They explode mostly into powder and wing particles. I would buy another one since its very sturdy. The cage, grid, everything except the lid on the top and the bottom catcher are metal. The Lid and Catcher are durable plastic and doesnt feel like you will break it. If your looking for amazing workmanship, high quality parts. This is your unit. If you want to buy the 80watt, pay the extra and get the 120watt Commercial unit. You wont be disappointed.

Zap monster!
By Andy Nguyen
Very impressed with the build quality of this one weighing in 19lbs. Works right out of the box I haven't even place the included bait traps. This Flowtron Diplomat is born to kill love seeing those pest being zapped. Sounds loud when the big bugs gets lured in. Don't mind the zap sound at all. Love to hear those suckers getting torched!I placed mine outside my porch sitting on top of low chair. Used this only a few hours for 3 days at night time and I was impressed with how many bugs were killed around 100, that's without the trap. This will last years compare to those smaller plastic cage Flowtron version that is out there. This cage is steel I even hold it to move it around. If money ain't a thing then this will be the best for your buck!
