Great sound and

Although marketed as a vintage-sounding pedal, Boss FZ-5 is certainly more ecletic than that. Because of its "boost" control, it is possible to reach distortion levels unprecedented to the pedals which Boss tries to emulate with FZ-5. That gives the player the chance to create heavier sounds that can go with all kinds of hard-rock, heavy/nu metal etc., without losing that special warmth one looks for when buying a fuzz effect. I bought it in Brazil for about 150 US and I'm pleased I did it. If I could pay the 85 bucks Amazon is asking for it, I'd be even happier!

This pedal has 3 modes and they all sound great. Fuzz Face, Maestro, Octave Fuzz. Sounds Great! Big Bang for your money!
