Most awesome V-style brake EVER. Period.

I purchased this brake specifically because of the round bars that enable an enormous range of pad height adjustment. I have a 26" wheeled bike that I wanted to convert to 700c.This brake permits you to do this. Putting a 700c (622mm rim) wheel on a frame designed for 26" (559mm) requires the brake pads to be about twice the normal distance from the brake pivot, and the MotoBMX has enough adjustment range to allow it. The trick is, with this geometry the brake now requires a lever with half the pull and twice the pullng power (i.e., twice the mechanical advantage) of a normal V-brake lever. No problem! Swap in brake levers designed for cantilever or road brakes (Tiagra STI levers, in my case), and you're golden. I'm only using this brake on my rear wheel (I installed a new fork and converted the front to disc) but it would work equally well in either position.This brake is incredibly light, easier to install and adjust than normal V-brakes, very powerful and of course offer the huge range of pad height adjustment that facilitates crazy conversions like mine. The pads could be better for my wet Oregon conditions, but that's an easy swap. Only real downside is the price, but you really are getting what you pay for.
