The Perfect Watch.

I'll start with the downs, and explain why this watch is still wonderful enough to rate five stars. My original Lugano Automatic was a palladium plated brass case, and after about a year, it began to pit. Not a problem with the stainless case, but the stainless lacks the luster the worn palladium added; Win some, lose some. Also, the acrylic crystal seemed a little cheap at first, until it began to yellow with age, and it actually made a gorgeous watch even more beautiful. I had it in my possession for over five years, and it was my daily-wear watch. It kept perfect time, was simple, dependable, beautiful, and elegant. It took a motorcycle accident to shatter the watch, and my left hand along with it. The hand recovered, mostly, but the watch did not. I'm on my second now, and I'm still in love with the beauty and simple elegance of it.
