Product Description
The Fieldpiece Superheat and Subcooling for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration meter, model SSX34, measures suction line, or low side, line temperature and pressure. It then calculates actual superheat in real time using built in P/T charts. It also measures liquid line, or high side, line temperature and pressure, and calculates actual subcooling. Use it to get actual superheat on R-22, R-410A, R-134A, and R-404A fixed orifice systems and actual subcooling on TXV / TEV regulated systems.

Havent Used Yet

I purchased this thinking i would use it constantly. I have not used it one time yet. I am sure it does what is says it does but easier to use a clamp on thermocouple and gauges than putting this inline while charging. I am sure one day i will use it. but atleast I got the clamp which I do use daily. i know it goes without saying but FYI Clamp can be used with all fieldpiece handhelds that use thermocouples. atleast I know it works on the psychrometer and the multimeter. I have used it for pressures and it does vacuum in HG.

excellent service,fast delivery quality product very satisfied with price ..it worhs as described. very easy to use and it can be easily calibrated. every hvac service man should use one instead just guessing at a/c charge. It would even more useful it it came with a 1 foot long hose. Had to make up one.
