Being able to take an outdoor hot shower at our remote camp site is an amazing experience. The temperature is adjustable and you can get it very hot. The water pressure is better than many hotels. My husband and I shared a shower & used a 7 gallon water container.

We purchased one of these a while ago with much debate due to the price. When I found out I was drawn for a 2 week hunting trip, I decided to buy it. My wife and I tested the X-40 out on a 3 day camp trip. I know the price is a little steep, but after using it I was glad I bought one. This little devil can pump very HOT water very fast so you have to be careful. I took another reviewers advice and pre-heated my water source to my desired temperature by cycling the water back into my 5Gal bucket which worked a whole lot better. It took less than 10 minutes to pre-heat my 5Gal bucket of water which I had to let cool down. We estimate the pump and shower will provide a 10 minute shower on a 5Gal bucket. I would highly recommend this product if you are looking for a good camp shower. The X-40 can also provide instant hot water for dishes.

so much so, i found it more comfortable to heat the 5 gollon jug of water to temp and shut off the burner, then use the pump ...great outdoor shower
