Despite the package saying it only fits the 7600 it did fit the older 760 just fine. This is just what I have been looking for. I highly recommend this seller and product for those looking for a new stock for your rifle.

Good alternative to original stock

I had the original walnut stock on my gun and didn't want to damage it while hunting. I put this one on and it works very well. The fit of the butt stock is not perfect but well enough to work. The butt stock is kind of thin and hollow sounding. I am thinking about putting some spray foam to try to deaden the sound.
