Product Description
Remove harmful dirt, dust and other debris from nearly all office equipment. Vacuum unit works great, but accessories not so well.

Vacuum unit works great, but accessories do not fit well. Also if you use the micro cleaning attachment, the vacuum gets very hot.

Multi-purpose...

A really great little vacuum, I use it mainly to clean up after myself in my woodworking shop (hobby shop stuff) but I find it can be useful as a vacuum in almost any job where you need to get into small spaces (computers, machinery, etc.) I would have given it five stars except for the following: first the power switch is a three position (Hi-Off-Low)toggle type switch that does not provide either a clearly marked or positive swith position control, second if you lay the vacuum down on a flat surface the motor torque tends to roll the vacuum to one side and possibly into or off of something...These may seem trivial but they are annoying oversights of an otherwise thouughtfully designed cleaner.

The Metro Datavac MDV-3TCA Does its Job.

The Datavac MDV-3TCA is a work horse. I use it to clean all the vents on my electronic equipment with two speeds of suction or vacuum. It also works great on vacuuming or blowing my desktop computer and laptop keyboards and the metal filter vents on my computer case, stereo and Direct TV DVR fan vents. This vacuum is also great on cleaning the paper path to my inkjet printers. I can't believe all the dust and crud that collects on these devices over time. Living on the beach doesn't help either from all the dust we get. Thank you to Metropolitan Vacuum Cleaner Company for making a great product to keep our electronic equipment dust free. Bye the way, this product is also made in the USA and the quality shows by the all metal construction of the vacuum and high quality plastic attachments that are included. The vac also comes with a nice soft carrying case that also holds all the attachments. I don't know about the previous reviewer's statement about not having enough suction. There are adjustment valves on the vacuum hose to adjust the suction strength. He might have had his valve hole wide open or power switch on the low setting causing less suction from the vacuum motor. I am very happy with my purchase and Amazon Prime shipped it to me the next day for only $3.99 on Friday and it arrived on Saturday.
