Perfect Travel Monopod

I looked high and low for any other monopod that would collapse to a compact size, be light weight and have the strength to work with larger lenses. This was the only good solution I could come up with and it really is perfect. Worth every penny.If you need a monopod to take on a motorcycle or throw in a suitcase this is the one.

Superb quality, light and compact.Make sure the height will work for you; it is a bit shorter than the non-travel monopods. I use a Bogen swivel head to raise the camer a few inches and that works for me (I'm 5'10").

I took this lovely monopod around the world last year and left it in the hire car in London, just before leaving on the last but one leg of the journey. On returning home I immediately bought another - it's just that good. Superb Gitzo quality and finish. Light weight but solid. Packs down to a good size for travelling. I also have a Gitzo tripod. If I needed another type it would still be Gitzo for the quality and ease of use. And no, I don't work for them - just a very satisfied customer.I use the Traveler monopod with the Canon 40D and Canon 10D.
