2Profile Design - not so good
By Y. Maru
The glue on the pads wasn't good enough and one of the pads fell off after a year or so. The design of the elbow cups does not give these bars a secure feel. Comparing this bar to a Syntace bar (C2) that I purchased on closeout is like comparing a department store bike to a real road bike. They both work, but the design, quality, weight, comfort, and secure feel is sometimes worth extra money. The other Profile products I have owned - three stems, an older aerobar, and bottle holder all had issues. The stems weighed more than the advertised weight and pressed unevenly on the headset bearings. The old aerobar adjustment mechanism wasn't secure, and the older, behind-the-seat bottle holder could not hold the angle of the bottles.

5Fantastic bars!
By Triguy
I dont see why everyone has any issues with this. I got these in recently and have used them quite heavily with no issues. The bars had some pull initially but I just tightened everything and now its fine. I guess most people here didn't have the screws tight enough. IT says to use a torque wrench and I did I made it 88 instead of 80 like what it said and its perfectly fine now.I did read what people said about the arm wrests and put superglue on first, then slapped the pads on with the pad's own adhesive. Should stick on for years now. If not, they make superglue for a reason. The only thing I dislike is the weight. Compared to other areo bars, this one is heavy. You get what you pay for and carbon fiber is double price. Otherwise this does its job. Also, if you have a computer, I put it on the top in the center of the aero bar where the 2 bars are connected. It looks awesome there and is at a perfect viewing angle, food for though.Overall, very very impressed for the price. No issues with bar sliding around, however I did tighten it more than specified in the manual. As far as the arm rests, I used superglue on top of the included adhesive. No problems!

4Profile Century Clip-on Bars
By Motorhead
Good sturdy bars, have run them through miles of training and one tri already, with no problems. As info, since the product descriptions can be somewaht vauge; the elbow rests on this model are not the "spring loaded" type and do not adjust out of the way to allow access to the upper handle bar grips.
