Just perfect

I have a collection of action figures including various Batmen. This is perfect, lacking the sinister modern day aspects, with bright blue contrasting the grey, I actually have used the included rope/grapple gun to have this figure simulating swinging across a wall.

Lacking in Durability, But a Great Display Piece!

This figure is a fantastic display piece. The cloth outfit is great and the sculpting details on the face a nice. However, the complaints I have are regarding durability. The small yellow capsules on the belt tend to fall off. I've had to glue a few to ensure they stay in place. Also, two things I have noticed with the DC Direct 1:6 scale series are 1) the hands tend to pop off quite easily (even when simply posing figures), and 2) the fabric on the outfits tends to rip a little too easily at the seams (again, even when just posing). The figures are articulated well enough, but the poseability is somewhat limited. The figures also come with a plethora of accessories... which they cannot hold. The do have a set of hands that come in a "palm open" position, and they seem almost malleable enough to bend to hold the accessories, but I'm not willing to tempt fate and break the other set of hands.If you are only displaying this figure, it looks absolutely fantastic, especially next to the DCD 1:6 Robin (which has far more issues than this figure, but that's a different review altogether). Please, do not purchase this unless you are a collector or it is a gift for a collector. Also, you may find them cheaper on eBay or elsewhere. I'd recommend shopping around. If you absolutely have to have it... how much is too much? Well, that all depends on you, doesn't it? To each their own as far as what they're willing to pay for something.Enjoy!
