The Walkabout Rollator is from Drive Medical, one of the country's fastest growing manufacturers of Durable Medical Equipment. The rollator is equipped with loop brakes that can pulled up to stop or pushed down into a locked position. The all aluminum construction allows the rollator to weigh only 14 pounds while maintaining a strong and solid frame. It is manufactured with wrap-around welds to provide additional strength and support. Large eight-inch casters with soft grip tires are ideal for indoor and outdoor use. This rollator has a contour padded backrest for your comfort and can be folded flat for easy storage. It comes with a large basket that mounts under the seat for added security of your personal items. The handle height is adjustable from 35" to 39". Weight limit up to 300 pounds.

5 Star Great deal for the Money

This Rollator walker works better than my old N**a walker, I have had no trouble with the brakes at all (a little note--we thought they were defective when we got the walker-- it turns out that, at least while they are new, YOU HAVE TO FIRMLY PULL THE BREAK LEVER TOWARDS YOU,( PULL IT AWAY FROM THE WALKER, THEN PUSH IT DOWN. THEN THE AUTO LOOP BRAKES ENGAGE).The walker is very light weight and strong.One small con would be if you are shorter than 5'6" than the lowest handle position may be too high, this walker could easily work with someone 6'8" or taller, as the handles go quite high if needed.Note: It comes with a soft cloth black vinyl basket, not a wire one as we thought. This turns out to be much better for us as it is fully collapsible without removing the basket, and small things do not fall though it.

Very Nice

A very nice rollator indeed. No real assembly required and the item is very sturdy. Don't order any walker/rollator sight unseen. While this was a wonderful product, it wasn't "right" for my aunt. We ended up taking her to a medical supply store and letting her 'test drive' some rollators.

This walker comes with a soft collapsible basket NOT a wire basket as shown. My mother specifically wanted the wire basket. After two phone calls to Amazon, and promises to ship another walker with a basket, the problem has yet to be resolved. Too much of a hassle, I guess we'll just have to keep it. I should have rated the walker itself five stars, as it's very nice, lightweight and easy to assemble. The three star rating is for Amazon.
