Dirty Power? Clean It Up!

I ordered one of these 300 watt/120 VAC EN600's for use with my DirecTv DVR/receiver and home theater system. In our area, We seem to get more than our share of power interuptions.I got tired of being "glitched" while watching a TV program, since the DirecTV DVR takes like 10 minutes to reboot itself after even a quick power interuption.This UPS isolates, surge protects, and sources power for a substantial period of time, (load dependent - of course). It has 6 receptacles that perform its various capabilities. (Note that not all receptacles provide the same type of protection).I have a whole-house generator to use in the case of total power "outages" and this unit maintains uninterupted power to my entire AV system (includes 56" HDTV, Suround Sound Reciever/processor, & DVD player) easily for 15 minutes, while I do the manual "switch-over" from "the grid" to my generator.It would be great for those looking for PC protection as well and comes with an automatic "orderly shutdown" capability over the USB port.It is a little "pricey" perhaps, but is probably cheapest in its class while a very high quality unit by comparison.
