I purchase two dumbbell racks and found them to be quite easy to assemble and very sturdy. The weight on the afore mentioned racks is from 65 lbs going down in 5 lbs increments. I have purchase cheaper dumbbell racks and they do organize your dumbbells. The short comings of the stacked three tier variety is the inability to get the bigger dumbbells at the bottom out without hitting your knuckles on the ones above. In addition, the space between the bars is too narrow for the 35 lb and up dumbbells. This causes them to shift and pinch your hand when you put them back. The Powertec rack addresses all these problems. There is plenty of space for my full collection of hex dumbbells ( 5 thru 40 lbs) and the rack doesn't flinch when you set the dumbbell back in it. The shelves are sufficiently space apart and you have no trouble removing heavier dumbbells from the bottom. The shelves are also wide enough to fully support even the 40 lb dumbbell. I would highly recommend this rack. It is nearly half the price of the commercial ones with the same features and should last a lifetime. Assembly took 20 min and was easy. A few dings in the paint on arrival, but nothing major. A great value!

This is very solid rack made from heavy gauge steel. It's rated for 1500 lbs. Assembly is very easy and the design is great too.
