Saves me often in my jeep

This "budget" winch is a good buy for the money. It pulls with 9000 lbs of power and there is nothing budget about that.Pros: Powerful pulling, easy to use , will pull seemingly anythingCons: the neutral nob broke off.(disengages the engine so the spool can turn freely) It is not a major problem.

Warn winches are Warn winches, and Tabor is a cheap Warn. No big differences noted so it's well worth the price difference, I wouldn't invest extra money just for the warn sticker on the solenoid. Installation is easy, just 2 cables plugged to the battery and then follow the connections according to the colors. Remote is standard so nothing worth highlighting. I'm using mine with the steel cable (not a synthetic rope) as steel cables are more resistant to friction, although it does add some extra pounds...Didn't rate it 5 stars because Warn is missing the solenoid (solenoid is the black box you see above the winch body) mount on the packages. Out of the box you won't be able to mount it as it appears in the pictures due to the lack of this mount. Buy it together with the winch or else you'll be frustrated having to start all over once you get it.
