Who designed this thing?

I am pretty sure that the people who designed this never went camping, or at least they never needed to use one of these. The first time I used it the cord that holds the hose down when traveling broke and the hose flew out and dragged on the payment. Yup you guessed it the hose leaked everywhere. I was very popular at the campground that day. But the worse part is that you just cant empty it completely because of the design where the hose goes in underneath. I literally have to stand at the dumping station lifting it up at and angle the dropping down over and over again.My recommendation would be to just get the plain old blue one.

A Great Product

I purchased this tank with some trepidation, because there was only one review and it was completely negative. But, I have owned Thetford products before, and have never been disappointed with the quality of their products. So I took a chance. Bottom line? I LOVE this holding tank. It is easy to use and to transport. It sure beats having to move your entire trailer to dump the tanks. I suspect that the previous reviewer tried to pull this with his truck and pulled it faster than at a walking speed. In that case, I can see how it would not hold up. However, if used as recommended in the owner's manual, I find this tank to be well constructed and able to make life a lot easier while out and about with your camper.jb

i like the looks an the handel that goes over the ball. ihave not used it yet but i will in may wnen we go camping
