Easy install

Looks nice, sounds ok - definitely not what you're looking for if you want more than a simple, standard "ding, dong" noise. I easily installed this in place of our old doorbell, just following the directions it came with. All I needed was a screwdriver. I should add that I am not handy AT ALL and do not know how to fix things or anything like that. If I can install this, anyone should be able to, assuming you have a doorbell already wired and are just swapping it out like I was. Also, we just have a front doorbell so I didn't have to worry about wiring for the back door.My only complaint is that there is a very small portion of the dark plastic backing visible from beneath the bottom edge of the wood facade. It's not very noticeable, but I have an eye for detail and I see it. I don't know if it's just the angle it is at in my home, but if that did not show it would be absolutely perfect.Overall, I would suggest purchasing this doorbell.

Our old doorbell (with a cheap plastic cover) was not working, and we wanted to replace it with a simple but elegant unit. We didn't want a wireless unit or fancy tunes. Just something that looks great on the wall and goes "ding-dong." This unit is beautiful, was easy to install, and sounds great. Can't ask for more.

Inaudible Ringer

I am extremely disappointed with this ringer. The front door chime is so soft that if there is any noise in the house you won't be able to hear it. Don't waste your money or time on this one.
