Product Description
With any project, it ís the details that make the difference. That is exactly why we have teamed up, again, with Marc Sommerfeld to bring another innovation to the market. The new Sommerfeld Junior Raised Panel System is a version of the original cabinet door set - a smaller scale and enormous possibilities. The Sommerfeld Junior Set lets you make frame and panel details as small as 2-3/4" square and in material as thin as 7/16", up to 11/16" thick. These delicate looking panels are only the beginning and enhance a variety of projects. Make templates and add interesting arches to your work. But don't be fooled, they produce extremely strong joints and add integrity to any creations. Jewelry boxes, humidors, clock cases, even library panels and coffered ceilings will come alive with the beauty frame and panel craftsmanship provides. The Sommerfeld Junior Set includes the Raised Panel Bit with back-cutter and the matched Ogee Rail & Stile pair, packaged in a protective hardwood case.
Includes the following, all in a 1/2" shank:Junior raised panel bit with back cutter (890.537.11) and Junior ogee rail & stile matched pair (891.517.11)

Outstanding bit set
By S.Michael Malinconico
Upon receipt I used this bit set for a raised panel I am constructing. The cuts were extraordinarily smooth. The bit heights are indeed matched. I made the cope cuts, changed bits and made the stick cuts without changing bit height. The rail and stile fit perfectly. Again, without changing bit height, I cut the raised panels. They fit perfectly.I needed to use 3 rubber grommets (as Marc Sommerfeld recommends) in my Porter-Cable router to seat the bit properly in the collet.I recommend this bit set to anyone interested in making small, raised panels.

Great bits
By KTM
As usual, CMT bits work well, little tear out, and last/stay sharp for a long time. I like their products.
