I used mine to limp my full size fridge through a power outage. It was able to handle that surge current without a hiccup. I ran it off a 12v deep cycle marine battery. Now I have it installed in my car. I have yet to have a problem with it. I felt like I was somewhat abusive to it but it took it like a champ. I think it looks pretty sharp too. The reason I bought this brand is that we have some 24v units at work that have been reliable. The voltage and wattage meter is a nice touch as well. You will need to buy wire and connectors for it. 8 gauge wire is perfect and the crimp on rings should have a 1/4 inch hole to fit the studs on this unit.

I purchased this model a year and a half ago and still working fine.As a long haul truck driver it gets used every day to run my microwave,laptop and phone charger.My TV is connected to a smaller 500 watt inverter.The Power Bright causes some problems with the digital tv signal but no problems with anything else.For the new HD televisions you need to go with a more expensive sine wave inverter.

I bought this inverter for my truck and I use it on a daily basis. I run my laptop, microwave and power tools with no problem. I've used other small PowerBright inverters in the past and I've been very happy with their products.
