Washed out color

When I purchased these on August 18, there was not a picture of the item. Part of this is my fault for not being familiar with green amethyst and for buying something sight unseen. However, I don't think it was unreasonable of me to expect some definitive green. The description says that this stone is part of the quartz family; think quartz here with a washed out greyish green color. The picture, which is now posted, is fairly accurate but more definitive in color than what you will receive. They are also larger than I anticipated. The minimum total gem weight is listed as 1.74 carats, which would be roughly .87 carat per earring. My earrings present to be about 1.5 to 2 carats each, which means they are pretty large, probably due to the fact that this stone is fairly lightweight. The tip of the pear to the bottom is 3/8 inch. Amazon ran these on special for $20.99, on a percentage off sale, but if I had this to do over, I wouldn't pay more than $10 for them, although the gold housing on the stones is probably worth the price I paid. In my opinion, they are not suitable for gift giving either.

Green Amethyst Earrings

These earrings are lovely. They are clear and bright. The color is a very, very light green. It is not like a peridot green. It is like a clear white stone with just a subtle hint of emerald green. Do not expect any bright color - it is very subtle and soft. Very well made and solid prongs. A+++

Pretty earrings

These are pretty earrings, I purchased for a friend and actually was quite surprised at how nice they look. The color is suppose to be a very pale green from what I've seen and that is what they look like. A nice size, not to big, not too small.

Kipling Lancelot Snap Front Shoulder BagI purchased the Kipling Lancelot Snap Front Shoulder Bag to use during my travels. The light interior makes looking for things in your bag easier. The front snap becomes annoying as you continually have to open and close it. For items I was frequently using I used the zippered compartment in the back of the bag.The bag is lightweight and has three zippered compartments. The front compartment has compartments for your cell phone, glasses, a zippered compartment and a velcro compartment with two pen/pencils holders. Behind this first compartment is the second compartment which has a zippered pocket and a place to hook your keys.I tended to use the zippered compartment in the back of the bag. I can't tell you how many phone calls I missed as I fumbled to open the front snap, unzip the compartment and locate the phone. I recommend this bag for traveling but wish there had been an outer pocket to put my phone in.

awesome bag

Greatest, most convenient, versatile bag ever...I haven't stopped using it since I got it about a month ago...it goes everywhere with me ...the pockets are great...the only criticism I saw when I bought it in the reviews what that the front opened up too wide and things could fall out...this is really not true...it's completely manageable and easy to avoid any problems...wonderful bag!!I hate all the "fashionable" bags these days...this is comfortable with the long strap and I think it looks cool even if it's not hip!!

Very durable "fun" bag to carry...

Overall I am very happy with this product. The only reason why I didn't give it a 5 is because sometimes it seems like the number of zippers can be too cumbersome. It is great in that you won't lose anything from your purse, but to reach in for your cell phone, or keys, you have to unsnap and unzip, or at least unzip. The Kipling products are awesome, and there are plenty of styles to choose from. I just happend to choose a style that was a little "too" secure for my needs at times.

These earrings are absolutely beautiful. They look like they should cost more than they did. They are very light when worn (which is good for the earlobe) but looks very substantial. I am very pleased with them.

Good for a little girl

Very pretty setting. The setting is a little on the smaller side, but still nicely made. Genuine stones, very light setting, easy to get on and off but still secure once on and good 14K gold that wouldn't hurt ears as cheap earrings do would make this a perfect gift for a young girl who would be very impressed to hear they are real rubies.I got the earrings 25% off on a daily gold box deal and even though they are genuine stones and gold, I would feel that the original price of $99 is a little too much as it is such a light setting that if given for a gift to some adults, people may not realize the quality materials and think the earrings are worth less. At the discount price it is OK.Update: I have actually found these earrings to be even more useful than I first realised and have actually ordered the emerald equivalent as well. I find them excellent for everyday. If you can get them on sale you have done well. I still stand by my prior comment though that if given to an adult they are so light they may think you have paid less for them than you have if you buy them at the full price.

sapphire drop earrings

Nice little earrings, but much more delicate than they look. Be very careful about removing and putting them in your lobes. Both lever-backs of mine are shaky after only two wears and I've had to have them strengthened at a jewellers.
